I’ve only recently learned of Ren and his music. His life and trials. I haven’t been so moved in a really long time. A lot is relatable, a lot makes me want to reach out give him the tightest, reassuring hug that he’s needed here.

This track is mesmerising and you play it so beautifully Ren. I was introduced to Jean-Philippe Rio-Py through you playing this piece. I listened to all his pieces and I came to especially love Riopy’s pieces Ever After and Tree Of Light, as much as do I Love You. They give me the same thrill as when I listen to Michael Nyman or read Walt Whitman or Alice Munroe poetry.
