Excellent job on the bratwurst!! Grew up using the Hobart machinery in our meat department. I'll have to share our Goetta recipe with you so you can give it a try.
Heath going into HWM meat business, you need to do a moose in a hr. Heath was go September to December 12 to 18 hrs day every day . My butcher run 2 high grade grinder for burger meat plus 7 person . Last fall put out 894 moose in the butcher shop and we got 2 meat shop in my area .
Honestly I haven’t been too impressed. The top cracked, Bass Pro canceled the warranty, and it’s just not great. When it finally dies I’ll look into a chamber sealer.
My father told me when I was just a small lad that if I ever got married, marry someone who could cook. He told me that the sex would wear off but you'll always be hungry. I suppose that advice works both ways. 🤣🤣🤣
Potato sausage is my jam! Thanks for tour of HWM Meat Department!
I’ve never tried that. Thanks Brian.
Hey I am with you I used the 30 pound meat mixer one time to much to clean!!
Yeah the clean up was worse than the benefit.
That was very satisfying to watch. And like you said, you know what you're eating and quality made. No mystery meat going into your body.
For sure Kenny, thanks.
I loved your bratwurst and really appreciate you sharing this recipe. I’ll have to consider getting some of the equipment you have sometime.
Thanks Mark, you can also make them just buying the ground meat and seasoning. Then make burger patties!

Probably John lol.
It was interesting watching this procedure. Even though I don't eat meat.
Thanks, it’s some work but worth it.
didn t know you cook looks good..keep up the good shows
I love outdoor cooking!
Great video. What do you set your vacuum sealer on? I tried vacuum sealing brats one time with out freezing them and it squashed them almost flat.
It’s just set on the standard setting.
Nice. Job. Yummy yummy
Thanks Ralph.
We make just bratwurst patties. Make the patties in a press . Just like a ham burger.
Yeah, may go that way when my current casings are gone.
That looks yummy. Cheers 🍻
They’re so good!
How do you like the Cabela’s vacuum sealer? Our third Foodsaver quit on us and looking to upgrade.
Honestly I haven’t been too impressed. The top cracked, Bass Pro canceled the warranty, and it’s just not great. When it finally dies I’ll look into a chamber sealer.
When are you cooking them? I’ll be right over. 😂
I’ll let you know lol.
Heath you make hot rods from bear 🐻 and deer mix buddy . Taste good with a rooster 🐔 foot 🦶 on beaver 🦫 ice 🧊. 😊
That would be something to try.
I think we both have all of the same things
Great minds think alike.

For sure! Luckily we all can cook in this house!
🎉
Thanks.
👍👍
Thanks.
The beer is on ice. What time is dinner?
lol, that’d be a great combo.
I wouldn't 'lid' a green pepper like that. Wasting material.
Yeah a little bit.
