The city of Ahmedabad on the banks of river Sabarmati is the cleanest big city with a population of over 10 Lakhs. Using on source segregation of waste, active composting sites, functioning and upgraded toilets, and many other innovative approaches to process both solid and wet waste have enabled the city to be the cleanest big city.
