Those were the days when we used to enjoy watching TV and clean ads like these with our young children. Without our knowledge they became such integral parts of our lives.

I still remember back then how all the villagers would come to my house watche doordarshan and metro channel..getting cramped inside a small room..just made me nostalgic..! Time flies so fast!
I can say very proudly 90s kids are luckiest in world.. they show everything letters, technology, evolution so many thing..

All of us love 90s so let's bring it back. Let's dress that way. Let's socialise in real life without phones and let's reduce our needs. Without social media life would be as good as in 90s

I don't know if I'm being partial(b'cuz I'm a 90s kid) but i believe there is some kind of magic about the 90s.It was that period when they we were just a few years away from the new millennium and hence were excited about it,but at the same time all of us had that technology sans innocence of the preceeding years.
+Prabhav K Totally agree with you.I believe there was a soul there in the storyline and jingles then. Nowadays its all about what drives the numbers.. But I guess that just makes them more uninteresting.
+7Blab Yeah bro,you're right.After the liberalization in the year 1992,for the first time ever,ordinary middle class Indians got introduced to quality products at reasonable prices.So the ad makers wanted to somehow bond with viewers/consumers(who now had more options to choose from).So,like you said,there was that soul in the storylines and jingles.
But now,ad making is more like a rat race,one product trying to pip the other.
+7Blab And back then,protagonist of the ads were normal people like a little boy,a mother,a father,a school teacher,a colg student etc.But today's ads tell us why a star like SRK would buy a particular shaving cream or drink a particular fruit drink or drive a particular car.Somewhere between the 90s and today,the average consumer lost his importance in ads.

Even when I was a kid and this Cadbury ad used to be shown on TV every day, I still could not understand her dance steps, so totally uncoordinated, no wonder he had to close his eyes with the palm of his hand. Now more than 20 years later, I am seeing the ad again, and still I am totally perplexed at the gestures and the dance and the swinging. Does anybody know exactly what she thought she was doing? Raymond of course has no equivalent even today. Classy, stylish, excellently made.
