I'm noticing as I'm rewatching Jasam story that as hard and as frustrating as their break up was it was ultimately a good thing because Sam became her own person, and made it very clear that no man was gonna make desicion for her. She showed just how well she can handle herself and made Jason forget all about his "Things we can't talk about" rule. Jasam are GOLD!!
