- On August 6, the central government convened an all-party meeting. The reason for this meeting was Bangladesh. The government informed all the parties about India's stance on the situation in Bangladesh, the measures being taken, and the precautions being observed. According to sources connected with India Today, during this meeting, a dialogue took place between Rahul Gandhi and S. Jaishankar. Rahul and other attendees raised numerous questions to the government, to which S. Jaishankar provided answers.
