- Hey guys! Here is another song from my first headline show. This one is an acoustic performance of an original song I have not yet released. To launch my Debut EP "After Hours" back in 2022 I played my first headline gig at The Folklore Rooms in Brighton on the 9th of March, featuring two special guests of mine Georgia Hazelgrove and Julia Traser. I was so thrilled to fill out such a lovely intimate venue which was just the perfect space for me and my music, bringing the busking (very off the cuff) spirit to the Stage :D
In this video I'm playing an original song called Try Not To Hate Me.

I'm shipping internationally, however, I have run out of stock so there's a bit of a wait on that whilst I get some more in.. Aww those were some amazing times man, remember on our way back from the studio at Sussex we stopped by the uni shop and bought a 70cl bottle of whisky, you were like we shouldn't drink that much.. N I came out with my 'no, it's just better value for money, we don't have to drink it all..'

Loved this, I'm so envious of the crowd that night. There's nothing quite like the atmosphere of an intimate venue when you have the audience on your side and they're following your music where you lead them.
Your lyrics are always poignant little vignettes of human experience; teasing big emotions out of what are often small, fleeting moments. Just lovely.

Looks beautiful for March. “Some angels never learn to fly” is an interesting line, because (and you may not be aware of this) it is believed in a lot of eastern spirituality that angel wings that fall or scattered during attempted flight are used to heal sickness or disease/dis-ease in those grounded who need to fly but can’t.

Aah evocative! I once came across three sibling baby birds that had fallen from their nest. Really sad scene. But I admire mother nature for her embrace of risk-taking: try out some biological configurations and see what works in the future environment. Seems to me that's more conducive to growth and evolution than the risk-averse world we seem to find ourselves in nowadays, where to be considered valid an idea must be proven viable before it's even been tried. Can't wait to hear the whole song!!

@@GorranKendall I can envision where hybrid shows are the absolute commandment for unsigned artists. Eventually more artistically free and individual consumer driven than the lables. Or a gal can hope

The industry is resisting it but there appears to be a trend currently emerging of well established, mainstream artist even moving away from big record labels and back to being independent. Raye, Ed Sheeran and Paramore have all very recently done just this.

@GorranKendall yes I'm doing okay it was a very abusive relationship so it was the best thing but I spent 5 years with the guy and he was there for me when I had brain surgery so some days I miss him but for my own self it was the best decision 💪🏻
