When the latest remake of Aladdin came to the theatres, I was really wanting Morissette to sing the title song with the new musical score from the movie, because I knew she would be spectacular with a more contemporary arrangement. A wish come true. I saw glimmer in her eyes and Morissette was fully in her element.
Morissette fits in any music genre whether it is pop, ballad, country, rock, and even 'disney'. Her first ever Disney song "Imagine More" is currently charting in different countries all around the world. *The PHOENIX never fails to amaze us!*

Hopefully this solo song by Morissette becomes a catalyst for more things with Disney. Her performance shines and its her time to be a STAR! Her gift when it comes to singing duets is that she allows the other singer to do their thing and not over shadow them. You can see it over and over again in content downloaded on RUclips. But, at some point Morissette separates herself and you can see that she is clearly on another level. Morissette is a generational artist!

I believe they are really good friends and have known each other for quite a while. In fact, Morissette performed the song “Halo” in Christian’s wedding. You should check out…it’s on RUclips of course 🤗😊 They both, along with another friend in Erik Santos, share the stage in concerts they schedule internationally.
Christian's wife, Kat is Mori's personal manager , and this was recorded last month before her, Christian and Eric Santos left for their US tour "" Threelogy 2.0 "" The last show is tonight in fact in Washington DC area. This was for the Disney+ Premiere Nov. 17th... Imagine More is available by Morissette on all music platforms now....and within 24 hrs, was #8 on the iTunes USA chart under the Opera /Vocal song genre...in Canada it was #3... I might think, Disney will look to have Morissette doing more in the future.

@@yoojin3877 true that. They go way back. Earlier in her career, when she and her mom just moved to manila, and things weren't working out, she was ready to give up her dream. She said in an interview how Christian convinced her to keep going. So we have Christian to thank for this

We are so proud of Mori. She started 11yrs ago, joining different singing contests here in the Philippines. She did not give up for her dreams and still learning in improving her talent. You should watch her version of LISTEN (beyonce) live in AlaniMorisette concert. She had a bangs in her hair in that video. I got teary eyed watching that video!
totally agree. I started watching Mori a number of years ago and she was always impressive. Now her hard work and expertise has landed her in this top role and she looks and sounds great. Not my kind of songs, but hey, Mori makes t enjoyable. She deserves it. :)
Just one tiny gripe. This was the night to allow Mori to shine, and she does. Disney however focused on advertising Disney. A bit too much, taking advantage of a great voice.

As with her duet with Darren Espanto on the wish bus of “A whole new world”, I’m pretty sure Disney had a lot to do with “reining in” Mori’s power throughout this performance to keep that classic Disney sound. Her lows are nevertheless so pleasing to the ears though. ❤
