I dont understand 🤔 in south africa most of the time when a man has a child out of wedlock the man cannot claim the baby as in he cannot give the baby his surname so I'm confused of how she uses her dads surname but they have never met and you have to have some ritual or whatever for the child to be welcomed in the fam🤔🤔
@@vibrations69 if you followed the story well and what doja said you would understand why it doesnt make sense. I dont know if you're south african or what but in our culture once a baby is born even out of wedlock a ceremony is done for the baby to carry the fathers surname. In some news theh say her father lived in the U.S for 15yrs and yet doja says she has never met him and she carries her dads surname and the Zulu name. You probably didnt watch all videos relating to this matter.
So true Lee, it doesn’t add up at all. Name and a Surname but they’ve never met at all ? 😔 maybe it’s true that Dumisani is prohibited from telling his side of the story
I always thought Doja Cat got her South African influence from her dad but turns out he wasn’t in her life. Was she just interested in her culture and explored it herself or were her grandparents at least involved?
Zanele Mnguni hmm I mean she’s mentioned having some African influence in her music , for example when she talks about that « African auntie alter ego » on her song Go To Town. Not to mention she uses the N-Word freely allowing herself to say it like being black is part of her identity and her black side comes from South Africa. But I’m not sure if she’s mentioned other stuff explicitly.
Alia Tubri she probably does get it from her dad. I have a daughter part African and even though he not around she is like him in many ways. Genetics are crazy

@@aj8331 How do you know she's telling the truth?
I dont understand 🤔 in south africa most of the time when a man has a child out of wedlock the man cannot claim the baby as in he cannot give the baby his surname so I'm confused of how she uses her dads surname but they have never met and you have to have some ritual or whatever for the child to be welcomed in the fam🤔🤔
He was married to the mother and had two children before he left to return to South Africa according to the article I've read
@@HenryDube72 but also bathi he lived in the U.S for 15 years. All this doesnt make sense. But thanx 😊
@@SeboleloKhanyela exactly, finally someone who gets it
I always thought Doja Cat got her South African influence from her dad but turns out he wasn’t in her life. Was she just interested in her culture and explored it herself or were her grandparents at least involved?
Did she ever explore her South African heritage? I've never noticed, or maybe I've missed some things but was it on a song or something?
Zanele Mnguni hmm I mean she’s mentioned having some African influence in her music , for example when she talks about that « African auntie alter ego » on her song Go To Town. Not to mention she uses the N-Word freely allowing herself to say it like being black is part of her identity and her black side comes from South Africa. But I’m not sure if she’s mentioned other stuff explicitly.
Zanele Mnguni listen to her song won’t bite .
Alia Tubri she probably does get it from her dad. I have a daughter part African and even though he not around she is like him in many ways. Genetics are crazy
