I’ve seen the second combo with hex a thousand times by other creators, but making Dragoon with Sanctifire is a fucking 500iq move. Thats the difference between you and the others man, the originality 🙏🏻
Anyone who still plays Branded at this point just loves Branded. The amount of time your combos die to 1 or a few handtraps is honestly torturous. It's insane how some of our cards are still restricted when their own effects restrict what you can play meanwhile we have cards like chimera fusion which is a quick play that has a secondary effect to self recycle or special summon monsters and without any restrictions on what you can play for the rest of the turn.

Against any player that knows branded will know which part of the combo or which effect to chain to shut you down. Branded was pretty popular a while back, so there will be people who know those timings.
It's pretty rough against the more meta decks, that has so many answers to branded. There's a reason why the video shows you plays that are mostly unhindered compared to the average experience. 🥲

On my alt account (where I’m almost done making Branded Dragoon), I actually just finished crafting Dragoon, but I still need to craft Thrust, Verte Anaconda, the second Gold Sarc + Quem, last Bystial Lubellion, Feather Duster, and purchase the DM Structure deck for Dark Magician. Wish me luck! 2:09 The Toggle is Definitely vital with the timing. Good guide! This is a good reference to look at to practicing the Dragoon lines, but otherwise, the branded combos remain mostly the same if you can’t get to Dragoon.

@@Moha-MasterDuelin the rating duel ladder. Top 10 rn are mostly branded, tenpai, VV, gimmick puppets, supreme king melodious and labrynth. But there is a pure mikanko player too. Very impressive he can climb that high using mikanko without warrior combo.

Monsters like Red Eyes Dark Dragoon are why I have Kaijus in most of my decks, Kaijus and monsters with Kaiju like effects like Ra Sphere Mode and Lava Golem are the most effective way to stop Red Eyes Dark Dragoon in its tracks. It is also why I am going to start using Solemn Judgment and Solemn Strike. Nonetheless this video is giving some ideas for how I can advance further in the Duelist Cup. I have never made it to Stage 2 in these events, but have always gotten fairly close.

@@jonathanoliva823 The soft OPT is something that can be exploited in quite a few ways in the right situations. If I have Guiding Quem on the field I will sometimes use Mirrorjades effect to get rid of one of my opponents monsters, then fusion summon using Mirrorjade to ressurect my other copy of Mirrorjade to use the effect to get rid of another one of my opponents monsters. This also means you can take advantage of the graveyard effects of not one, but two extra deck monsters at the end phase as well.
The deck is so strong in my opinion the strong deck in the game cause it's hard to play around it can play around handtraps and the traps and spells are so strong I say this cause I have a friend who plays it and it's hell to beat
Guessing because it adds bricks to the deck and red eyes fusion is a really restrictive card and after full branded combo you get locked into fusions so you cant always go into verte
@@ramus93a lot of these issues get solved by just running the hex monster as a substitute. it works wonders for me, I don't mind missing out on the destruction effect since branded engine can take care of monsters
Does it make a difference if I use Hex Sealed instead of DM for the Dragoon plays? The deck is already expensive so I don't wanna pay extra 500 for the Structure Deck to get DM but I would it it is actually worth it
@@D_Hamptonkeep in mind Granguignol can’t send hex to grave, for my version of the deck you need dark magician, but I see the majority play with hex sealed
@@Moha-MasterDuel Thanks for the heads up. I use DM in mines too, i haven't done the granguignol combo yet. I've been doing the Lubellion combo to get Dragoon out & mostly branded in White to get Dragoon out when i dumped DM in grave during situations.
a small deck size only matters if your goal is to draw all cards in your deck. in goat format it would genuinely be ridiculous to play more than 40. maybe 45 at most. nowadays we rarely draw more than 7 cards a match. the rest are best searched or are preferrable to remain in deck throughout the match so as such are not ideal to draw. in that sense playing a bigger deck is actually beneficial for your game plan. if you're worried about decreasing your chances of drawing important non engine like maxx "c" your chances of drawing a 3 of within 5 draws are not that different between 40~50 size. if you are playing a 60 size deck you should probably reconsider a powerful draw card like maxx "c" in the first place as most 60 size decks are made with the intention of minimizing the chance to draw important 1 of's that need to stay in deck in your starting hand. just food for thought. size isn't everything if you know what i'm saying...

When opponent took control of Dragoon with Triple Tactics Talent, why couldn't he use its omni-negate against Mirrorjade?

Only difference is you'll get the other effect if you use DM. You'll only have the omni negate if you use Hex Sealed
