I have seen this short many times and actually have it as one of my many shorts on DVR. A couple of parts are cut but I believe it is for the most part, intact. A great short and all three Stooges are hilarious. Another great segment Rick, thank you.
@@ricknineg I also have the DVD collection so any short is right there when I want to laugh at their Super comedic skills. Their comedy has and will continue to span the decades.
The funniest episodes for me is when Moe gets stuck (pipe, door casing falling on him etc.) The other is when he was inflated and floating in the sky, the boys shot him down with a rifle. Boy was he mad.
I saw that one many times. But I'm 71. All the kids in grade school acted the the stooges! 50's and early 60's. They where on tv every day after school!
I started watching The Three Stooges on WSBK TV-38 in the early 1970's. I've seen most every Stooge short but this one does not look familiar! By the by, it's nice to see a younger generation fan of The 3 Stooges.
@@ricknineg There was also a character chasing them that they referred to as the Goon. (I forget which episode.) Also a great character he played. Thanks for mentioning his name, I never knew it.

They were and still are the greatest! I still laugh just as hard at all their craziness as much as I did as a kid. They’ll never grow old and neither will we if we keep laughing….
I remember seeing this one MAYBE once or twice back in the mid 70's when the UHF channels exploded across the USA. Even in the 90's when TNT showed the Stooges, they did not air this one. It wasn't till METV started airing the Stooges that this episode was shown. That started about 10 years ago. It is a VERY funny episode too! Thanks for that bit about Duke York. I knew he was in several shorts but didn't know that about his death.
I've seen it many times. My favorite scene is when Moe gets whacked in the jaw numerous times by the jack. Another funny part was when Duke York mentioned the windshield was so clean, you'd think there wasn't any glass there. I actually got to use that line when a friend and I were walking down a street in Boston and 2 men were replacing a store front window. We all got a good laugh out of it.
This short has always been on my short list (pun intended) of my all-time favorite Stooges episodes. Probably because of the scene where Moe gets so brutally abused in the repair shop from the jack to the crowbar. I don't know about rarity, but you aren't wrong about cut versions. I remember some time in the late 80s watching the short and it abruptly ended while they were in the falling bomb. I knew it was cut, because I watched it several times uncut in the 70s. That was around the same time as censored Looney Tunes and Parental Warning stickers on CD releases.
The Three Stooges shorts are coming to Blu Ray, but for some reason they are only selected shorts, not the complete collection of every short. A deal breaker for me.
I'm a big Three Stooges collector. I never thought they'd be released on Blu-Ray. Thank you for sharing this information. Could you provide any more details or a link? Thank You! 😁❤️
