I sampled wulong cha and wulong cha x next to each other and the x is so different and much better. The original smells too green and astringent and sharp to the point it doesn’t quite smell like tea anymore but the x version tones it down a lot so it smells like a luxury hotel
You were with Eddy and I at Etiket the day he and I first smelled these and I think they're great but I'm not sure I would buy any of them. I know that Eddy tried Hacivat X and didn't care for it and he's probably going to buy Wulong Cha X as he loves the original. Smelled the original Wulong Cha and it clearly reminded me of Banana Republic 78 Vintage Green. Then I checked in Fragrantica and was not surprised to see Vintage Green as second option in the "This perfume reminds me of" section for Wulong Cha. Added my own vote there. Haven't smelled any of the X versions yet, but curious about them.
Am using my sample of tiling Cha x now after shower. I love this. Have and the the original too. Kind of reminds me of Hermes sur Le nil, slightly. Similar calming effect. I tried hundred silent ways x yesterday and did not enjoy it. I may have to get a bottle of this though and use your code. Thanks Sebastian!
hacivat x and wulong Cha x SMELLS so amazing and definitely a rounded scent compared to the originals; however, the longevity is DISAPPOINTING. it only stayed 1hour on the skin for Both X versions. Wulong and Hacivat stays ON for long but the X did not stay. Its very sad.
I presumed since it's 10th Anniversary the X is roman numerals so it's pronounced "Hacivat Ten" instead of "Hacivat Ex". Also wondering if you got your nose on smelling Hacivat Oud. That came out of nowhere (for me at least) and the perfumer is by Dominique Ropion. I have not tried that one and interested on your take on it.
I love the opening on nishane hacivat but not the drydown to much oakmoss. I can't wait to try the new nishane hacivat X same notes but they took the oakmoss out
The thought of oakmoss in the dry down actually sounds fantastic to me! I’m at about a 98% rate with Sebastian from fragrances that either I’ve already had that he’s reviewed or fragrances I’ve been in the fence on. I’ve blind bought a couple based on his reviews and it’s so far been spot on. I may just blind buy this too

it's def less oakmoss hardly at all actually. It certainly smoother but I need more fruits in it for some reason. Perhaps you might like it! :)

Hundred Silent Ways X was not at all what I expected. I don’t care for the leather note. It’s very strong on me.
Oh no. Some notes stand out more than other so people. I don't get much leather from it. It's all creamy lactonic florals.
