When I saw that initial thumbnail, I had to do a double take by comparing it with the 2018 reissue of 2003 Mothra. At least the mislabeled 2003 Mothra remembered to add yellow stripes to the bottom of the wings.
Comparing this to Sonic 06 is rather perfect lol wish I thought of that during the recording process. But it’s not wrong. Releasing something so clearly in need of more time in the oven is… unfortunate. Thankfully, I’m sure, the customizers in the fandom will likely make her look perfected!
Bandai was so good back then. There figures had a lot of great paint and detail. They had a lot of articulation. And they were well priced. @@ShinRobjirayou pay what your paying for that money is going to different objectives
@@ShinRobjiramy theory is that when you see monster x battra and mothra there multi pattern Kaiju and a multi pattern Kaiju is expensive to paint because there's so many patterns but a solid color Kaiju a cheaper like godzilla ghidorah or anguirus
@@ShinRobjirain my opinion it looks good
Is that same overpriced Mothra figure currently listed on Amazon?
This version Mothra 1992 is much better than the other one. The other one is looks like from the Millennium Era.
It’s accurate, sculpt wise. Yes.
But old “”1992 Mothra”” was much better in terms of paint lol
It's because it is. Bandai made a major goof terms of mistaking SoS for Heisei or had a deadline issue when it came to releasing 1992 Mothra Imago and larva (Odd because 1992 Mothra larva does exist in the 6 inch line, just hasn't been released since Toho Kaiju Series around the late 90s.).
@@ShinRobjira You’re right.
@@onionking6486 Maybe the Bandai company will fix the issue of Mothra Larva 1992 in the future.
@@brianhuynh2023 I mean all they have to do really is reissue the 1998 mold. But my guess is a new mold will be made since it hasn't been used in almost 2 decades and perhaps the mold blueprint long since deteriorated. Also ngl you could also pick one of those up since the figure itself is pretty nice and holds up.
Idk y'all I may have to boycott this release.
