      No, but if this is what you really want you can succeed. If you’re willing to put in the time trouble and effort.

      Anthony, very few things worth having or doing are easy, I agree. I was not trying to say it is easy to do in the context of meaning it takes no work. It does take work to research and find the channels, make contact, do the outreach, have the conversation, make the offer and close the deal, but as buying businesses goes, acquiring an asset like a YT channel or podcast is one of the easiest types of businesses to buy.

    Insightful. How do you determine the value of a FB group, podcast, YT channel, tradeshow? Never mind, I found the answers. Love Google!

    Either your talking about the profit margins McDonald’s makes typically on a burger …. you just haven’t been McDonald’s since 1990 or your confusing McDonald’s with White Castle not sure which one it is but it’s definitely one of those three 😂. But great video . Binge watching the whole channel

      9:05 in the video I think is where I talk about this 718_Sports. You are right, it’s been a minute since I’ve been in a McDonald’s, but they are still doing the upsells. Check out how they are using AI now through recommendation engines and even license plate recognition (LPR) combined with your past order history to suggest more things for you to buy. It’s kinda crazy! www.nytimes.com/2019/10/22/business/mcdonalds-tech-artificial-intelligence-machine-learning-fast-food.html Thanks for watching and commenting! :)

    People say it's against Facebook's terms and conditions to buy and sell groups. Do you have a workaround, our do you simply not sweat the terms and conditions? BTW, not trolling. Genuinely interested.

    So this is already assuming you have a target group of customers in mind? & an idea of the industry you want your main business to be in.

      This is just to give you some ideas of what I believe are the easiest businesses to buy, because that’s something people have asked for. If you are starting completely from scratch and none of these appeal, check out my video on determining your acquisition criteria. I generally start from scratch by thinking about my HIP (hobbies, passions, and interests), and then match those against my Skills, Superpowers, and Experience to see where those might intersect. Then I will inventory my connections and network to see if I already have any connections in those areas and use process of elimination to whittle down to some possible acquisitions I might want to make based on all of that. Hope that helps.

    RUclips channel, podcasts? aren't these businesses tied to a personality?

    • @RolandFrasierEPIC
      @RolandFrasierEPIC  Год назад +2

      Not always Eddy. Just as talk shows and products and companies have spokespeople, so can RUclips Channels and podcasts. The key is how much the channel or pod is tied to the presenter’s personality. We’ve swapped hosts out successfully and not lost audience. You can do that by starting with co-hosting, then guest solo hosting and eventually replace the host/personality. As long as the channel or pod is not 100% named after and personified by the person, it can happen. Also many channels and pods have their own theme independent of the host. You cannot always make it work, but you frequently can. :)

    Are these also the easiest to manage?

    • @RolandFrasierEPIC
      @RolandFrasierEPIC  8 месяцев назад

      Great question Jaren! It’s kind of a different thought that the types of business to buy. What I am always looking for is businesses where I will not have to be the operator or manager. So, I’m looking for easy to manage as a different set of criteria than ease of acquisition. To that end, the easiest businesses to manage are those that already have managers and operators in place that will remain there after the business is acquired.
