I just shared your video with someone who was having bobbin winder issues...she said it saved her from having to call a repairman in the morning...you video was a blessing to her!
Thank you so much for this information. It worked. I have juki ddl 8700 sewing machine. Is there special thread or needle for stretchy polyester fabric ?
Thank you for these videos! I've been sewing for sixty years and I can fix most problems, but there are issues that I can't fix without help. I live in a rural area and don't drive into a city large enough to have a repair shop very often, so when I can fix it myself, it's great! Thank you, again.
I'm pretty sure that I can speak for anyone who has ever purchased a machine from you; we love you!!! I'm in more than a few FB groups and I have never once seen a single negative thing said about you, your machines, your customer service, or those who also work at Sewing Gold. You are the best!!
THANK YOU!!! I was able to fix my bobbin winder in a matter of minutes. And thank you even more for getting to the point and not rambling. This was an extremely helpful video!
This man knows his machines and I really appreciated him calling me back in South Carolina. He reassured me I was on the right track in fixing my machine and he was right. I have a very old singer 347 and was having bobbin winder problems . I have it running again now. Thanks for your courtesy call back.
OMG thank you! I keep buying bobbins thinking I am getting crap bobbins because they are so loose. Now I have like 200 bobbins lol. This was a great video!
Awesome tips, I got so frustrated with my winder, stopped using it and went to a manual one, and have to constantly check the tension with my bobbin tension disk checker. Hopefully watching this, I can fix my issues, not all bobbins are the same, So, I really appreciate this video.
THANK YOU!!! I just had my juki DN1181n back from repair last night - only to sew today for a client and not able to fill the bobbin. Life and sanity saver!!
LIFESAVER!!!!!! Literally 😭😭😭 You made a subscriber out of me! I’ve searched Google and all over You Tube for this help and your video answered my bobbin problem. I was having a break down trying to figure out why my bobbins were so loose and wouldn’t wind. Thank you! Thank you! 🙏🏽
Thank you thank you thank you…I have been sat here in front of my newly purchased vintage Pfaff 545 H3 for 2 hours trying to understand why the bobbin would not bind. It never occurred to me to widen the pin! I now have and I have a fully wound bobbin. Cheers!
Thanks very much! Your video saved the day! Please post more videos regarding the understanding of an industrial sewing machine! Many thanks again (and Hello from Hong Kong)
I stopped using my machine years ago because I couldn't wind bobbins. I'll have to try these tomorrow. Thank you! A very expensive machine to keep out of commission.
Sir thank you very much 😢 like I've been using domestic machines now it's broken, I had no choice but to go back to using my industrial, after 7years, I was so stressed out, but your video helped meeee❤❤❤❤❤❤ THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS 🙌
fantastic!!!!! i was about to give up on one machine i have because the bobbin would not spin so i could not use the sewing machine, It off course is not my Juki. I am going to get out of bed sense i can't sleep anyway and go downstairs and try your advise. Thank you soooo much for this tutorial,
Well thank you so much. My bobbin has been squeaking and I couldn't figure out what the issue was and found your video. A drop of oil and it was all fixed. I never did that before and I've had the machine since 1986 and it's a great machine. Thank you for that. DDDL5550
I have a Necchi Esperia and would like to know how to fix the bobbin winder. When winding bobbin the needle still goes up and down after turning wheel to disengage movement of needle. How can this be fixed?
My bobbin wheel is pushing against the belt guard, it doesn’t look like anything has moved and can’t see how to adjust the guard as it looks pretty fixed, any help appreciated
This is a great video. Thanks. I’m having a problem with the wheel it is very stiff and not spinning round. I have oiled it and still stuff to turn. I have also noticed that the pin that the bobbin goes onto is not turning when I turn the wheel. Please help! Thanks
Good morning. Please my belt has moved quite away from the bobbin winder. so when I'm trying to wind a bobbin the bobbin winder wheel shifts itself from the belt that holds the handwheel and the motor
I have a bobbin winder like the one you show here. The spring finger is not working properly. I have tried to adjust to have more bobbin load and then the finger never trips and if I am not keeping an eye...thread all over. So I loosen it so it would trigger sooner, but then the bobbin loads uneven because it seems the finger is too weak and just rides on there far too long and keeps the thread from moving back and forth. Is there a way to buy a new spring finger part? or if you have a resolution could you do a video? Thanks for all the great videos...You have helped me have confidence to really fix up my Juki DDL 8500. It's really stitching beautiful thanks to you and your great instructions.
Thank you so much for this video! I was able to fix the problem where my mom’s bobbin was not spinning and had to unscrew the mental plate and push it up a little bit so the little wheel Is against the belt more. So now I got one happy mom! I was touching the rubber belt and it’s a bit too smooth. My question is When do you decide to replace the rubber belt? Thanks take care.
Every time I thread my bobbin it the thread is really loose on the bobbin. I've tried to tighten my tension and did the steps in this video and still nothing. Please help!
thanks man! i was able to fix my bobbin winder... how empowering and i love my machine a little bit more now. not going to lie .. i kissed my sewing machine
Most industrial machine do not have that function. You will see that on household machines for the most part. The Singer 20U line and it's copies do have a bobbin winder that can be used without the needle having to move.
Love your simple explanations! Went to rewind a bobbin on my older Kenmore and all of a sudden the clutch release won't turn. Tried everything I could think of to get it to budge. Is there a quick fix to this, or should I take it to a repair service? Thanks in advance!
The spindle of my bobbin winder won't rotate at all. I have dripped oil in the little hole and verified that there is no thread stuck. Any other tips on how to get it moving?
I have 52 years of sewing experience . your bobbin repair problems are correct. You just left out one other factor. after lots of use bobbins wear out. they start to expand and the hole get bigger and no amount of spreading the winder forks will help. When the bobbin fails to wind try another bobbin.
I love you guys!!! it worked perfectly, thank you so much. My other problem is that my turn wheel ceased up, will NOT turn...what's up with that? How can I fix it, please?
Okay, it's fixed. My bobbin was wound too loose and ceased up everything. When I put in the corrected bobbin everything seems back t o normal. thanks for your help...you guys are the best.

Hi, my problem is that the bobbin seams to wind fine but then during sewing the thread on the bobbin has suddenly become loose
Thanks you so much! this helps me to fix my bobbin issues in minutes.
Hi thank you for this. What about if the thread winds under the bobbin itself. My machine just started doing this
Thank you so much! Oiling my machine did the trick for me!
Help bobbin isn't lining up with spinning wheel, belt spinning fine. Any ideas please......Alpha FZ233 old and heavy machine but like it!
How is the best way to wrap the thread around the Bobbin? I always seem to get it wrong and it comes loose.
I have a Necchi Esperia and would like to know how to fix the bobbin winder. When winding bobbin the needle still goes up and down after turning wheel to disengage movement of needle. How can this be fixed?
Steve and team, thank you for coming to the rescue and helping me today!! Stay safe and well. From Sydney Australia!
Thank you Rita. I hope you and and everyone in Australia are staying healthy and safe!
On stretchy fabric, the stitch skips , what is the solution?
Thank you so much for sharing but my problem is that my cotton is too loose on the bobbin, after winding it. Please advise. Thank you

Thank you so much for this video! I was able to fix the problem where my mom’s bobbin was not spinning and had to unscrew the mental plate and push it up a little bit so the little wheel Is against the belt more. Thank you for this information sir..Past some month,I was facing this all

What about getting the bobbin off the winder after it is wound? Am I just lacking in strength?
Loosen the bobbin winder post a little tiny bit by pinching it with a plyer. That will make it easier.
Thanks a lot, this your video have really helped me.

Thanx, your vdo helped me a lot, love from india

How do you keep needle from going up and down while winding the bobbin
Most industrial machine do not have that function. You will see that on household machines for the most part. The Singer 20U line and it's copies do have a bobbin winder that can be used without the needle having to move.
The bobbins that came with my machine, only half of them fit. I don't want to have to adjust that every time I have to wind a bobbin.
Love your simple explanations! Went to rewind a bobbin on my older Kenmore and all of a sudden the clutch release won't turn. Tried everything I could think of to get it to budge. Is there a quick fix to this, or should I take it to a repair service? Thanks in advance!
Hi there. Question is, how do I wind a bobbin without having the needle going up and down at the same time? Help please?
Unfortunately you cannot disengage the needle on a Juki DDL-8700. The needle has to go up and down while winding a bobbin.
SewingGold.com thanks for the reply.
Hello Sewing Gold! What about bobbin not winding evenly on front-winding Jukis?
We do not have a video of that, but can put that on our list. We will try and get to it soon.
This was a life saver!!! Thank you so much!
Glad it helped.
The spindle of my bobbin winder won't rotate at all. I have dripped oil in the little hole and verified that there is no thread stuck. Any other tips on how to get it moving?
Watch this video on how to take it apart. ruclips.net/video/zbeAdJXoN9c/видео.html
Thanks so much I just fixed my mom's. I asked her when it last worked and she said about 6 years ago lol.
Glad I could help!
This was really a helpful video ....thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
5 seconds in machine fixed life changing vid 🎉
What if the bobbin is spinning and the tension is right on the other side but the thread isn't winding?
The bobbin winder post needs to be spread with a flat head screw driver to grab the bobbin and allow it to spin.
I have just tried to adjust using the following steps you just shown but the bobbin winds and stopped
Thank you very much for helpful video 👍👍👍
Most welcome 😊

help. my belt slides off the wheel. what should I do?
First try lowering your motor. You do not want the belt too tight, so try it in small increments.
@@Sewinggold i do not know how to lower the motor😭 is that what you did at 2:55 of the video?
@@margota8342 The hand wheel of the machine or the wheel on the bobbin winder?
