I wish I could have searched how to do this sooner... I literally just accidentaly my 100% Save File because I didn't know I had to beat the game again on a already completed save file. Welp, off to grind this game for another 35 more hours to get everything back THEN finally do new game+
The only thing I think it’s stupid about this is they should have just put that right in the beginning in the main menu instead of having to redo what we’ve already done, I don’t think sonic team knows how to make new game plus. But other than that he made a good video and I appreciate it.

First question: New game plus has it's now save slots, so it will tranfer the stats from the file you have to new game plus Second Question: I think so, but I started my new game plus with max stats so I am unsure, I'd say you could however
I have a weird problem. When I grab the last emerald it doesn't put me in the Supreme boss, but just leaves me in the room with no emerald in the shrine, yet the objective still says to Get the Chaos Emerald. I can reload the save and the emerald will be back, but the same process happens like last time. Do you know a fix to this?
I am just curious but the boost gauge and spin dash are kept right? P.S. Funny stories. On my first playthrough I never visited Big to go fishing and I avoided the slot stuff, unintentional hard mode and when I realized how good the fishing stuff was and maxed my stuff that was close to 99 and then I had to focus on my speed. Level 1 to 99 I almost had my second of what I assume was a mini stroke playing the game. First was after attempt 42 at that evil vile pinball machine.
@@Not_Clac there are these green challenges, every island has ten except the one with the seven towers. Cyloop around them then do the trial. You require S class, don't follow the yellow orbs try to use the platforms railings bounce pads... you will have a much easier time if the yellow orbs come second. Also the new coco they added give you extra speed stamina, you can have a total of five of them and it almost feels like you're stamina never runs out so you can run forever. Both the challenges and the new coco have their own tab on the map, the coco have these platform puzzles you need to go through to get them. I recommend getting the spindash first because it not only provides instant max speed but you have really low gravity when using it. The spin dash challenges will look like a stopwatch and the coco are bright orange on the map.

If you say yes to save game clear data you get to select which of the three files it overwrites (I would recommend overwriting the file you are playing on because all it adds is the badge, But don't overwrite it with the new game plus file unless you want to lose your file)
So I’ve already just had the normal auto save file and file 1 as my only files available. I’ve beaten the game before the dlc came out, and I’ve done all the new stuff part of update 2 and have unlocked everything, but the only thing I’m up to is now I’ve beaten the boss again and it allowed me to get the gold star badge, but I’m confused so now I’ve got new game plus but I can only start it on the save file that has the gold star badge on it, but wouldn’t that technically overwrite my normal gameplay of the game?

What I hate is that I don't have enough slots for: - Regular/Hard mode - Extreme mode - New game + Regular/Hard mode - New game + Extreme mode I guess seeing that extreme mode makes New game + irrelevant I should just go with Hard mode New game +.
it basicly just adds a gold badge to your save like what can be seen an file 2 about 4 minutes into the video, it does not effect your save in any other way!
I have a doubt, I wanted to do it a few months before update 2, I ended up saving the game's extreme mode, there is no possibility of releasing the new game +

You are not the first person to encounter this issue, I checked the game and the pop up should still appear like it did in the video. Are you sure you are playing the base game final boss instead of the The Final Horizon boss
I just beated Supreme and then the game got stuck loading The End boss fight, I restarted the console and it still getting stuck there. Idk if is an error of my console or an error from the game.
@@theultimatememelord5494 Hey again 😁 When the pop up for the save clear game appears, you need to save it to one of the slots (It can overwrite your save, it doesnt change anything) Then new game + should appear on the main menu

What is the new game plus?
New game plus for sonic frontiers is just the a new file for the game where you can carry over your stats and skill tree from an existing file!
What exactly is new game +? I just unlocked it is it just the normal game but harder?
Its just the normal game but your stats carry over from your normal save file

If you say yes to save game clear data

You have to select your completed file to start new game plus
But once it is started, you can save it to a different on of the slots

Yep, New game Plus is basically just a regular playthrough with the stats from your old save file (Well at least I think thats all it is)

What a weird issue
Maybe try copying your save to one of the other save files
or check online, somebody else may of had the same issue

Hmm, I never ran into this issue, it may be different now since there has been more updates that changed things since this was uploaded
