- Gene Massey moved to Hollywood to be in the movies. He did quite well for awhile, but then his dream of success hit some major snags. Fortunately for Gene, he found his way to Sai Baba who eventually pulled him through his deep despair.
This is an amazing account of a man who had become Sai Baba's international film story teller, who now shares his own personal story for Souljourns.

I moved to Hollywood
28 years ago to pursue an Acting Career and that’s when I met Gene. I’ve known him a looooong time! I’ve seen Gene’s Transformation from then till now. Yup, Swami has done his Magic! 😆❤

This was a much-needed interview. Thank you, Gene! I briefly met you some 15 or so years ago at a Sai meeting in Johannesburg at Leon and Lisa Greenberg's (both now passed on). It was very meaningful to hear that the wife Swami said would come for you did arrive, albeit 20-odd years later ... and in your 70s! I've also been waiting for decades for the promised husband with whom "you'll do good work". I'm 62! Your story will be of great help to many, of that I'm sure. Thank you, Gene and Ted ❤️

Hi Gene, Francis Wilkinson, you may remember me, you invited me and my son Justin to share a stage a few years back. Very loving and wise interview, as Swami has said " something good can come out of everything" and you're sure a perfect example of this. This interview was a pure service and I'm sure Swami blessed you with it. Sai Ram.

Today this was a miracle for me. I've been chasing a dream for many years that would raise millions and millions of dollars to help feed and house those in need. JaiShreeSaiRam & Thank you Ted @ Souljourns! Brother Gene Massey, It was really good to see you after decades when you were visiting me in Dubai. We had a few days of you sharing your work before you went on to India. I recall you talking about your trip to Africa and also seeing your 'slow' film about Swamiji - Love In Motion. I am currently in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where Swamiji has started a new chapter just a few weeks ago, and recently I had the opportunity to go to Lusaka, Zambia. During the COVID Pandemic I was fortunate to be in Daressalaam, Tanzania where I managed to attend the wonderful Sai Center run by Shree Nathumalji & Mohinimaa along with a wonderful group of ardent devotees including Sudhirbhai & family, Upendrabhai & Mrs., Rameshbhai & Mrs., Subhasbhai & Mrs., Mr. Aashishbhai (who has since shifted to India but regularly attends our Saturday 4.00pm Study Circle), and Mr. Krishnan who handles both Study Circle as well as the Monthly Food rations to a whole community of elders in need. They look after the students at the Blind School since the 60's, and also often serve the other students at the "deaf and dumb" school nearby as well. 🕉ShreeSaiRam 🌼🙏😇
