You said paper and glue . That bothers me . I saw the sticker wood peeling from the water damage part. Scary to make this kind of purchase. Thank you for the knowledgeable information you give. It is definitely helping us out with outr purchase .
Great video! We are in the process of looking for a 25R. We currently have a 2011 Coachmen Freelander which is the first Rv we've owned. Can't wait to upgrade. How is the airflow with the windows open? The airflow on our rig has sliding windows that provide pretty good ventilation which is great when boondocking.
My first time watching your video/channel…. Awesome stuff, my wife and I currently have an Escape fiberglass 5th wheel but we are wanting to get either a class C or a class A eventually… great video 👍🏻
@@TheBlockPartyRV Hope all is well now ! I’ve been a subscriber since your beginning and I enjoy your videos. We just took delivery on a new Entegra Odyessey 30Z and I’ve learned a lot from you 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Checkout RV in Tennessee, they have a 25R with a lot of good info too
It’s a great rig, overall we are very pleased, sure there have been some hiccups, but I think it is to be expected on most rigs. Thanks for watching and commenting - and Happy Camping !!!
Thank you ! This is One of my favorite comments, just because it’s a lot of work, but I know it makes the videos so much more enjoyable to watch for the viewer.
Just found your channel. New Subscriber. Thank you for all the upfront information. After owning this rig x 12 months, are you still happy with your purchase? We have a 2017 Coachman Freedom Express tow behind. Interested in switcing to a Class C so that we can tow a boat along. Our Coachman has been a great travel trailer. We have hauled it from Maine to the Keys 3 different times, and all around Maine and New Hampshire. We have had hardly any issues with it. Thanks again for all the great information. Will be looking up some of your other videos. Happy Camping.
I am happy with the rig, a few issues here and there but nothing major so far, it was a great purchase for us, and it has served us well. Thanks for watching and the nice comments !!
Thanks for watching - it has served us well so far, we are pleased with the purchase, we just went to Vegas with the rig and our Jeep, that video is coming soon !
Nice, did you have to get a new house power converter when switching to the lithium batteries? Or did the factory converter from Entegra have a lithium battery setting? I heard that lithium and lead acid charge different, so the factory settings don’t work (ie - you can’t just drop in a lithium battery and be done), but some converters have a lithium setting that can be switched. Thanks for commenting on the video !!
@@DeepValueOptions we purchased 2 years ago. Partial body paint with jacks was $86K. Solar, 2K inverter, lithium batteries, monitor and Dc to Dc charger was $13K
I haven’t got the tow hitch figured out yet, stay tuned ! The corner bedroom gives us a huge bathroom, but it’s a bit snug for larger folks like myself. It’s not ideal, but the large shower and restroom was a must for us, so we settled for the corner bed.
Great, informative videos! My husband and I are getting ready to buy a class C and I loved that you talked about what you thought you wanted didn't work when seen in person. My question is about warranty service. We also live in So Cal and I have read that if you buy your RV out of state it is difficult to get warranty service from a local RV dealer. Is that your experience?
Most dealers will only do warranty work on units that they sold. Many people don't realize this. RVs are not like autos as far as getting warranty work done.
So RV’s have two electrical systems - a 12 volt, and a 110 regular house type power system. The 110 outlets only work when you are hooked up to shore (land) power or have the generator running. When driving down the road the RV runs just on the 12 volt house batteries system - which is just some lights, the water pump for the sinks and the shower, the fridge, maybe a few USB ports to charge a phone and a few other small things. Anything 110 like the TV, Microwave, outlets, etc. none of those items will work unless the Rigs generator is on - or you are hooked up to shore power. Let me know if that cleared it up, or feel free to ask a follow up question. Thanks for watching !!
We have a 2021 Odyssey Integra 29K. Our floor through the rv has that same spot issue you spoke about. You mentioned your floor will need to be replaced. My question - do they remove everything in the rv- dinette, recliner chairs, cabinets... or do they just lay a new floor over the old.
Great question - When I inquired about it, they told me I had to take it somewhere get it done and they would “re-imburse” me if Intirned in the receipt, When I heard they needed to remove the slide and remove all the cabinets and such, I decided to live with the spots - as for me personally, I’m not all that particular (it’s camping for us), and zi didnt think it would all go back together “same as factory”. So - we live with the spots …..
Thank you. I went to the place we bought the rv at. they said they would replace the floor but would "cookie cutter" it, not take everything out. They are going to research to see if this is still under warranty. If it is, I guess we will do it in the fall. If not, we will live with it too. The dealer told us this is typically a 60 hour job@@TheBlockPartyRV
We just bought a 23’ Jeep Rubicon 4XE, next step is to get the rig fully setup to pull it - so - down the road I will definitely review how it does pulling a full load TOAD uphill. So far, even fully loaded with water and gear, it does fine even up very steep grades - but that Electric Jeep is really heavy, so it will be a true test. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment !!
Ya, I understand your concerns, but all I have to compare to firsthand is my friend with the Coachman who bought his rig about the same time as myself - he has had way more “serious” issue’s with his (like the fridge and A/C both breaking within 2 years). Most if our issues were not exactly “functional” or so bad where I couldn’t use the rig, so Overall- I am actually still very satisfied with the purchase. It’s a medium price range rig - and I think the quality is about what I expected. Thanks for watching and commenting !!
Compared to my friend who has a Coachman - things haven’t been that bad. We haven’t gotten stranded at all or had any trips “ruined”, His fridge already went bad, his A/C went bad, the seat on the dinette broke and he has had some Chevy engine issues where the A/C went out in the cab …. It’s actually been pretty darn reliable …. And - we use this thing ALL the time, I’m up to almost 20,000 on the rig now.
your real life reviews are much better than anything Matt writes
Ya, walking through one and using one for an extended period of time are two different things - thanks for watching

It’s hard to integrate one after built.
