Thank you Bruno! 👏 How marvelous !💓 I want to hear more arias of neapolitan school of this era. Today, they are almost lost because of technical difficulties..
I believe it was originally sort of a "drag" role, so I guess he's just sort of splitting the difference(?), i.e. the palazzo pants. But I'm really just speculating!...😁
@@brunopicaude3092 Jaroussky does not use chest voice, his low notes are muffled, he uses head voice for the low register (incorrectly) since head voice must be used in a short register of the voice which is the one used for the change register. The human voice has 3 natural registers, Jaroussky only uses 2 and other countertenors of his time too. The chest voice is very important, it is our basic voice and we must work on it before singing in falsetto.
@@OGrauMusic I totally agree with you; it's why I mentioned Jarousky... to provoque a reaction. English technic: one register, one color; boring ! In the old school, even the "light" soprani had incredible chest voices. The first counter-tenor to impose this fact was certainly René Jacobs; thanks to him, we have now Franco Fagioli and so many others.
Beavissimo !!!!!
Fuori del comune! Grandissimo Bruno!💖
what a voice and control - thanks for showing us how this too long neglected music can sound.
Absolute wonderful rendition of this extremely difficult aria.Genius💝💝💝

Bring him to the MET. Yannick are you listening?
2:54 C6 IN FULL VOICE??? AND Eb6 ABOVE THAT TOTAL???
Impressive, but also vulgar and a bit unpleasant.
Sobrenatural!
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾✨
Standing ovation!
What's with the Jessye Norman outfit?
I believe it was originally sort of a "drag" role, so I guess he's just sort of splitting the difference(?), i.e. the palazzo pants. But I'm really just speculating!...😁
of course, the outfit says it all...
chest voice, bravo! a countertenor must never forget his chest voice. many current countertenors do not know how to use it. This is sad.
Jarousky...

He isn't a countertenor. His voice has not changed in puberty. Listen carefully to his passaggi. This is a natural high soprano.
You are right in everything except - Fagioli does use chest voice for his low notes.@@brunopicaude3092
beautiful! does anyone know what scene/act this is in?
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Singing: A++++. Orchestra: A+++. Singer’s outfit: F.
Shrill.
