This model mimics the full-scale Pitts S1SX that 1st RC Flight School founder, Dave Scott, flew as a champion aerobatic competitor and professional airshow pilot. Might have bit off a little more than an S1S Pitts can chew by flying a category designed for 330SC, Sukhoi and MX rocket ships, but no guts, no glory!
N8962M Pitts S-1SX was named Jezebel after the historical character who used her beauty and feminine ways to manipulate men into do her bidding. Her wrath, however, was brutal whenever she wasn’t being shown enough attention. Full-scale aerobatic airplanes are very much the same way, hence the name.
