2. Dr. Robotnik raids a village of multi-coloured blobs and turns them into robots with the help of his minions, and only an orange small creature can stop his plans.
3. Sonic and his friends are transported to a fragmented dream world, and the only way to fix it and leave is to collect magic gemstones and compete against each other in mini-games.
4. Sonic goes to the Casinopolis stage from Sonic Adventure and competes in various pinball matches to stop Dr. Robotnik, while meeting many of his friends and rivals along the way.
5. Tails is busy enjoying his summer break until a bird army invades his island and destroys his shit right up.
6. 6 mystical snowflakes are captured by Dr. Robotnik to prevent real snow from falling, so everyone will be forced to use fake snow instead.
7. Sonic and Tails are having a casual afternoon stroll until they notice a road-sign promoting a Grand Prix race.

Sonic Underground was the only sonic media I watched until the movies. I knew the basic premise of the games, Eggman kidnaps animals, makes evil robots, etc. As for Sonic X, I heard about it but didn't have the service for it. So for the longest time, I wondered where Sonia & Manic went, since I figured Underground was some sort of prequel/origin story. Did Sonic & Eggman get stuck in an alternate universe that became Green Hill? Were Sonia & Manic left behind? Did they get thrown into outer space? DID THE PROPHECY COME TRUE?!?
Nope. When I learned it wasn't canon, I wondered why it was even a show
