I live in Sacramento CA and I would like to be there but I am in the list for a heart transplant and my doctor don't allow me to travel but I am enjoying my contry thank you for your video gracias
We actually don’t really see El Salvador as less developed. They still have internet where they spend most of their time. They have Walmart here where we did our Christmas shopping. I am probably the only one who might think the biggest difference here is that I have to do more government services in person and not online or at least the school services. I had to stop and give this one some thought. In some ways things are way easier here. Like the water and electric bill. Since we don’t have a bank account yet we weren’t sure how easy it was going to be to pay. And for the water I just went to their FB page, typed a message and they had an automated screen pop up with options, I pick that I want to pay. They send me a link to PayWay which is a credit card processing system and I pay by credit card. And the bill isn’t even in my name. The electricity bill is the same way but over WhatsApp. I think I have my next video idea!
How is your family doing with all changes of culture? I mean, it isn't easy. Went I moved to Canada. I was filling along, having all my family and friends far away. By the way, marry chrismas!
We are doing really well. I even got my eldest, who is an introvert, out to light fireworks with our new friends tonight! We are making lots of friends actually, mostly local people here or some previous expats as well. Once we buy a car next year it will get easier to visit people to.
