    Its crazy to me that we had an injury prone QB in Tua without a veteran backup. We didnt need OBJ. With an offense like this, your back up should be a veteran guy with at least 100 career TD passes. Dalton, Wentz, Winston, Flacco. I mean come on. You invest all of that money in the WR position. Tua goes down and we cant even complete a 3 yard pass.

    I been saying offense too complex. Do the basics well vs the complex bad. It was made for just Tua because Tua could read quickly and anticipate and be accurate. Timing and correct positioning is essential in this offense but everyone needs to be in sync for success. They were sketchy even with Tua in there. Mcdaniels needs to evolve and adjust. Tua coming back won’t change anything.

  • @c2jones
    @c2jones Месяц назад +11

    Incomptence across the board. Chronic penalties, lack of focus, QBs missing open receivers, receivers dropping balls, bad routes, bad play-calling, incessant dinking and dunking with low percentage plays when more is needed to sustain drives. This team's total product on the field, particularly on offense, but certainly NOT limited to the scapegoat OL, is just putrid. They have lost their rhythm from midseason last year and are a woeful unit at this moment.
    McDaniel is a cheerleader with great play-designer creativity. He's not a good in-game manager and worse, he lacks the strength to demand accountability like a proper head coach.
    Undisciplined. Unorganized. Unaccountable.

      There's absolutely no question that this is a coaching issue and a management issue. Huntley is not posed as a complete fix. How could he be? This team has a long list of issues beyond the QB play. Incomptence and poor discipline to name a few.
      The point was that at least Huntley can add another dimension as opposed to pocket limitations and he can manufacture 1st downs with his legs to keep opposing defenses more honest. This is not a cure-all. But it has the ability to improve over the unsorted mess we're witnessing.

So instead of getting them more involved, they kept asking Achane to run between the tackles, almost as if trying to get him injured. Ryder it’s over man, you’ve done a hell of a job over the past couple years but there’s nothing to break down anymore. We have the worst quarterback situation since Cleo lemon. I applaud you for still putting the tape out but it’s over. The motion is getting a little absurd Tyreke looks exhausted running around the field before the play is even snapped over and over again. Special teams multiple penalties that’s just wild. Defense played inspired but if we’re honest it’s still horrible. Pass rush is absurdly bad from Phillips it’s the same as always and it’s one of the reasons bills crush us every time. Has anyone taught Phillips that a speed rush after 10 yards is worthless, he literally runs around the qb every time. Learn a spin move for Christ sake. He does it every time and Josh Allen loves it, every qb and RT loves it all you have to do is wait for Phillips to run past everyone Rt barely had to do anything just let him run around everything. Julian hill has 0 ability and upside. He cannot do anything well and the penalties are just inexcusable. Could go on forever but it’s not worth it and Tua as incredible as he is as a passer he’s never gonna win you anything more than regular season games. He cannot extend a play consistently and he is just not built for the nfl. The last hit the concussed him was behind regular, in fact it was soft. It’s over man

    GIVE ACHANE THE BALL! Go left, right, middle. Need an outlet or checkdown? THROW IT TO ACHANE! And why can't we just get a first down on 2nd and 1? We have to get cute and Thompson falls down and drops the ball. Could we give Ezukanma a reverse? We seem to only use him in the preseason. And what's up with Malik Washington? At this point the phins need to put a help wanted sign in the stadium parking lot for a third receiver.
    We can play better and we know that because we do play better... for 1 or 2 plays. Nothing made any sense in the game plan or execution. The o-line might be ok for Tua but he's about the only one. Mahommes and Allen would maybe have success with these guys but that's about it. At this point it's time for Patrick Paul to take off the training wiheels and get in the game. Armstead is a candidate for disability and Laam seems to have forgotten how to play Tackle.

      @@PedroMorales-jk5vv it the Coaching play calling. McDaniel may be a good play designer but he is poor at play calling. He runs when he should pass, he goes for too many 4th down, changing momentum. The scores don’t reflect the game. Too many times the Dolphins get into the redzone to either have a holding penalty, botch field goal, or just failing on forth trying to throw a fade to a five foot WR. If Tua is short, He needs taller WR, their best four WR are all under 6 feet. He needs WR like a Parker or Williams 6.4 WR. But this love affair with McDaniel has everyone eyes blinded and Tua as usual is the scapegoat. Notice no one will mention Skylar in this lost but the guy who didn’t even play in it is the reason they lost. You guys are idiots

    Should’ve never signed Armstead, Ramsey, Isiah Wynn, OBJ. Shouldn’t have drafted: Tindall, Jackson, Igbonoghene, Cam Smith, Ezekuma, Eichenberg, Weaver, Strowbridge, Solomon Kindley,Hunter Long, Laurnel Coleman, Ryan Hayes…. The problem is the GM and scouting department which the GM is over. The HC is not a leader. Then the GM grants big mi year to: Ramsey, Hill, Armstead etc for missing in draft picks. Then our GM and owner tamper. Skylar had an awful day, but he isn’t anywhere close to the REAL problem.

    McScreens did fail...He aint coach material lol...you keep running if its working and you dont target a slow scrub like Smythe in the endzone. The team with the longest playoff drought and Grier still has a job lol.

      Running the ball didn’t work. They ran the ball 46% of the time in the first quarter and only got 3 points out of it. Each of their 3 drives in the first quarter involved a run play that stalled the drive or forced them to punt or kick a FG:
      first drive, they got stopped on a 3rd and 1 run.
      2nd drive, they ran on a 2nd and 1 and lost 4 yards.
      3rd drive, 1st and goal from the 4. They ran it and got an illegal motion penalty that turned 1st and goal from the 4 to 1st and goal from the 9.
      The run game was trash.
