Heidi, such beautiful stitching. Fun to see the ‘older’ smalls in your collection! I don’t stitch as many patterns as you do, but like to finish smalls in between struggling with my larger pieces. The smaller ones FFO’ed too!

When I first found a LNS 25 years ago, I was sooooo into Fancy That, which I’d never seen before…..because of the weird folky people and critters. So it’s fun to see you pulling and enjoying them too 😋 I’ve also stitched lots of Birds of a Feather and collected all of their charts that I haven’t stitched yet. Oh Heidi I did the same thing to Winter Rose Manor and had to frog. Oh and while frogging put a hole in the fabric!!! It is still in time out! You do amazing work
@@staceyranalli6216 oh no! I put a hole in my Halloween at Hawk run hallow project while back! I know it’s discouraging when it happens. I ironed back of the hole fusible interfacing to prevent hole getting bigger and stitched over it 😂 Hope you can salvage the project! ❤️❤️❤️
@@stitchingfae yes a friend of mine showed me how to fix it with the same threads of the fabric to mend it. Pretty cool how she did it. It will come out of "the corner" soon just working on others right now. Love your work!

I have not had an issue with framing. I think you will be fine! I was stitching on SHades of Indigo by NOrthern Expressions Needlework while I watched you. I am doing it on Desert Stone Jobelan with a Mrs. Sedas silk in Darling ( it is teals and greens). can't wait to see what is next for you!
@@juliegomery2792 that’s what I thought! Framer should be able to work with little fabric since I do frame them close to stitching 🤞 I haven’t worked with Mrs. Sedas silks yet but I have heard a lot of good reviews about it. 🥰

Was about to ask if you stitched your ladies skin over 1 then you answered me.......esp perhaps 🤔. I'm stitching my first bewitching pixie and getting frustrated trying to do the skin over 1 as it seems everybody does it. Knowing you stitch it as charted ie over 2 , in my mind gives me permission to do the same. Silly I know but that's peer pressure. Your ladies look perfect so I can now relax and go back to enjoying stitching them. Thank you!❤
I figured if I am not enjoying the stitch then it’s not a fun hobby, and after sleeping beauty I went back stitching one over one and it makes me so much happier. 😁

It is warm here in Michigan, as well, but not in the high 90's, The upper 80's is as far as it has gotten except for a few low 90's days. Too hot for me-time to head to Lake Michigan. Stay cool and drink plenty of fluids.

Hello Heidi, Loved your video. I especially like your finished Ebenezer Scrooge--I am a big fan of Dickens's themed pieces. Yes, I have some Bah Humbug! Like you, I'm also working on Kringles. It's a beast. I started at the top and did all of the house and now have the fun part of moving in the rooms. I knew that the roofs and bricks were going to be a slow chore for me so had to get that done first. Look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work. Enjoy the stitching!

Oh I have been told the roof is where most stitchers slow down. I might stitch up to the top so this way I can do a room and some roof 😁

I’ve been stuck on fabric choice for the Teresa Kogut Halloween cover sampler and I love your idea of grandpa’s sleeve. I know I can’t go wrong following your lead. You have such great taste.

Hi Heidi - I don’t know how you manage to get so much stitching accomplished!! It’s awesome! I have many of the same projects kitted up as you - as well as many of the same being stitched currently. Right now I am working on Bluebirds of Hope by Teresa Kogut. I’m itching to begin some Halloween/Fall projects. As I am recently retired I have more time available to dedicate to stitching daily!! I truly enjoyed your WIP parade. All of your projects recently framed look great !! Congrats on the FFO’s!!

Are you starting to think about new starts you may be adding or are you focusing on getting more of your WIPs completed? I'm already planning on some new starts for 2025! For the rest of the year I want to focus more on my WIPs but I will start if my projects don’t call me. I don’t want to limit myself. There are too many pretties for me to start 😁 I haven thought of 2025 plans yet but I feel like my plan 24 WIP’s in 2024 motivated me to work on older WIP’s, so might do something similar next year as well.
I can’t wait for cooler weather as well, looking forward to it!
