@OldSchoolSkill Thrilled that we could give you fresh information. Stay tuned to UCTV for more from CERN in 2012!

Exciting, gripping and informative. Very good questions asked to unravel what CMS detctor and Higgs research is all about. Step by step Vivek Sharma is our guide explaining complex questions with an understandebel language for people without scientific background. (Like myself) Well done. Thanks alot for this. Beautiful!

Very good questions and answers. I have an alternative theory of the Higgs field and its MASSIVE boson, based on the idea of the ultimate element of the universe is matter-energy-motion in one quantum unit. I would appreciate emailing with Dr. Sharma

@BabyIYours The 2 clocks on the top rod will read the same time as each other and the 2 on the lower rod will read the same as each other because they are both equidistant from the light source.
The trailing clock on the moving bar will stop first as seen from the stationary rod reference frame but that only shows that absolute simultaneity does not exist for 2 events at different spacial coordinates.
This is a known consequence of special relativity.

@OldSchoolSkill Sure, I don't consider that to be "heavy" at all. You knew that before the video started.

Great stuff. One question though: why is the interviewer holding a pen? is he summarizing? does he have to take a quiz after the interview?

@jamesarongray things on the quantum level work differently. Take quantum entanglement what exactly is the link and how does it bypass the speed of light.

@OldSchoolSkill Ehh...not really. If they don't find the evidence then the theory is inaccurate. He talks a lot about how the universe we know couldn't exist, except it does exist, so it's a theoretical problem, not a universal problem.

Vivek sharma inspired by Indian scripture rigved. If i tell so in india people will say bhakt and mock our hindu religion. But its a treasure ask german scientists

I second OldSchoolSkill's notion, what a refreshingly well conducted interview. Thank you very much.
