Also across different live performances of the song, the members are wearing outfits that resemble an astronaut's suit, firefighter's uniform, etc, recognizing them as our everyday superheroes. During the pandemic they also performed the song in blue, shouting out the world's healthcare and service workers. In the dance practice as well, there's a moment where six members pose as Avengers while the middle man poses as Anpanman from the manga/anime, illustrating that even without any supernatural powers, Anpanman (and our everyday superheroes) are just as important and powerful. So many easter eggs! Such a great song!
If you think about it...the album makes you actually mimic how you would feel losing love. In the beginning (of the album) you feel relentless sadness and questioning, then you start to pick yourself back up, only to fall back into sadness at the end. The sadness is still there because you havent found (or listened) to the Answer yet. Its brilliant.

i fully believe their music production went up several hundreds meters up after this album! their music has always been amazing but god, this album is ZERO skips and it’s a ROLLERCOASTER! not only does it have a huge storyline in itself, but each song is differently articulated that it gives you whiplash when you listen it from start to finish. truly one of their masterpieces!

Yes, for me as well!! When I was watching a guide to learn about BTS, it showed a clip of Yoongi giving a New Year’s message about how he hoped our dreams came true and if you didn’t have a dream that was okay, he just wanted us to be happy in the new year. That changed so much for me, and when I learned that there was a song inspired by that clip I had to listen to it! When I did it was like a weight had be lifted off my shoulders, to be told that just me breathing was already Paradise!! I can’t express just how comforting that was!

Love maze and paradise is really a banger, the first time i heard it, I got surprised by how perfect the song was arranged, and their vocals never dissappoint
134340 is the reference number for pluto. the whole song revolves around the fact pluto was considered a planet until 2006, when scientists found a larger celestial body in space than pluto, which was a dwarf planet (eris, mentioned in the beginning verse by rm) and because of it, reconsidered the definition of a planet, deeming pluto too small to still be considered one (it lost that status). bts make a metaphor out of that for a human relationship, the feeling of being rejected, alienized and marginalized by someone, erased from their life (just how pluto was rejected and erased from the planetary system).
This album is a masterpiece, definitely on my top3 albums of them!!! Excited to watch your reaction for it, I love 134340 and Paradise, such good songs!! yesss i’ve been waiting for yall to get to this album review specifically for Paradise. its literally my number one BTS song, still to date. i’ll never forget when i discovered this song and i had it on singular repeat for like 2 weeks straight, and still have it in almost all of my playlists. musically its the style that i tend to gravitate towards, and lyrically it spoke to me more than any song by even some of my other favorite artists that i’ve had since childhood. when i looked up the lyrics for the first time i felt like they almost wrote it specifically about my life and what i was doing at the time. especially as a millennial who, at the time of the song, was feeling rushed to reach certain “adult milestones” and forgetting how young i still am, feeling lost for not having a big dream or passion that i had enough conviction in to turn into a career, and how much comparing myself to my peers from college and in my career the way that i used to was more detrimental to me than helpful or healthy. its such a relatable song and even when you’re not paying attention to the lyrics just a feel good song, with great production, cadence and harmonies. and the ending just wraps in such a “we’re in this together, we understand you” community feeling without feeling corny.

Ah the fan favourite album. I don't think i will love any other album more than LY Tear. It was my 2nd BTS comeback and i still remember the exact place, time of day and mood i was in when i first listened to the whole album. My tier list was in shambles with every new song i listened to in this lol. But paradise has stayed my no.1 since the beginning. Even though its in top 3 fave BTS song for most armys i would still say its underrated.
The album that had me crying over V and Jungkook voices 😭 i remember discovering these two vocals abilities and tones through this album and they ate !

I wish the guys would focus on the lyrics too ... missed almost everything in PLUTO or overall any song . This album is lyrically so good !! In your old album reviews you guys used to pay a lot of attention to the lyrics and the meanings behind it but its not the same anymore . I know the production catches the boys's eyes the most but it wont be bad to pay attention to everything equally. I am not leaving any criticism but just an honest review.

For me it doesnt matter if they focus on lyrics or production. But if they have to focus on the lyrics, the one who chooses the lyric video have to use better channels. Enjoy BTS More, Dial 6137, AF Taehyung, have good translations, they take their times translating or using realiable sources. Jaeguchi trabslates so fast that the grammar errors are easy to find in their videos even as an non english speaker.
I think we as a fandom need to accept that people enjoy music in different ways, and that’s okay. We as a fandom value Bangtan’s lyricism probably the most, but not all people are going to be like that and that’s okay.

I'll be honest and this is not really criticism just kinda disappointed because i really like album reviews and was waiting for it to be back, but since you got back to it with Love Yourself Her seems like you're not paying much attention to the lyrics or the song in general like you were a few months ago when you started it!! Basically all their albums are, but this album specifically has a LOT of lyricism that i was hoping for you to pay a little more attention, like it's very deep and beautiful!! Not much that can do now anyways for this album, but hope you take it for the rest, it really is just a comment of someone who enjoy your album reviews and how much you paid attention to it in the past, like you can even see here even if there was not that much songs to listen to, the video is only 37 minutes you passed it through really fast because you didn't really go deep into it!! ikr I have noticed that the boys really just focus on the production and I get it that you are a musician and there is no harm in that but if they could equally pay attention to everything it would be so great. Its always Abby who pays the most attention to the lyrics which makes me so happy . Its not even about this particular era but all the albums of bts are lyrically amazing , its a shame they dont pay attention to the lyrics at all .

Ah the fan favourite album. I don't think i will love any other album more than LY Tear. It was my 2nd BTS comeback and i still remember the exact place, time of day and mood i was in when i first listened to the whole album. My tier list was in shambles with every new song i listened to in this lol. But paradise has stayed my no.1 since the beginning. Even though its in top 3 fave BTS song for most armys i would still say its underrated.

I wish the guys would focus on the lyrics too ... missed almost everything in PLUTO or overall any song . This album is lyrically so good !! In your old album reviews you guys used to pay a lot of attention to the lyrics and the meanings behind it but its not the same anymore . I know the production catches the boys's eyes the most but it wont be bad to pay attention to everything equally. I am not leaving any criticism but just an honest review.

For me it doesnt matter if they focus on lyrics or production. But if they have to focus on the lyrics, the one who chooses the lyric video have to use better channels. Enjoy BTS More, Dial 6137, AF Taehyung, have good translations, they take their times translating or using realiable sources. Jaeguchi trabslates so fast that the grammar errors are easy to find in their videos even as an non english speaker.
I think we as a fandom need to accept that people enjoy music in different ways, and that’s okay. We as a fandom value Bangtan’s lyricism probably the most, but not all people are going to be like that and that’s okay.

I'll be honest and this is not really criticism just kinda disappointed because i really like album reviews and was waiting for it to be back, but since you got back to it with Love Yourself Her seems like you're not paying much attention to the lyrics or the song in general like you were a few months ago when you started it!! Basically all their albums are, but this album specifically has a LOT of lyricism that i was hoping for you to pay a little more attention, like it's very deep and beautiful!! Not much that can do now anyways for this album, but hope you take it for the rest, it really is just a comment of someone who enjoy your album reviews and how much you paid attention to it in the past, like you can even see here even if there was not that much songs to listen to, the video is only 37 minutes you passed it through really fast because you didn't really go deep into it!! But anyways just wanted to say that
yes! this album is art in itself with just the lyrics, i’ve made several essays and projects just based off this album alone and made professors listen to this album because of how beautiful it is in both lyricism and artistry. ☺️

ikr I have noticed that the boys really just focus on the production and I get it that you are a musician and there is no harm in that but if they could equally pay attention to everything it would be so great. Its always Abby who pays the most attention to the lyrics which makes me so happy . Its not even about this particular era but all the albums of bts are lyrically amazing , its a shame they dont pay attention to the lyrics at all .
