I'm so excited for this video! In the past week it's gotten colder and my skin is clearly telling me that my mid-weight transitional products are not cutting it anymore. Bring on the heavy hitters!
Kelly I found a ceramide mist with Cholesterol, 5 different types of ceramides and other great ingredients high up in the list for $11! It's called THE LAB- PREBIOTIC CERA CREAM MIST.
Recently I bought the Ordinary Chia Seed oil after you recommended it 20 times, and now I am hooked 🤣 I mix few drops into the Illiyoon cream and my skin is happy and protected! Thanks for the great recommendations as always 🥰
Ohh I did too. I absolutely love TO Chia seeds oil. It’s so light weight and does not leave the skin tacky or sticky or heavy at all but still nourishes the skin at the same time ♥️ Love it so much.
Thanks for the recommendations Kelly! I definitely be purchasing the Skinfood essence. My top options to take care of my very dry and sensitive skin are: the purito centella unscented serum, the Make prem Lifting Me Liposome Firming Serum, the Soon Jung 2x barrier intensive cream, the La roche posay cicaplast baume and the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery sun gel. Toners are my favourite skinnier product, so I usually use two in my routine (both AM and PM). My favorites are: dr ceuracle vegan kombucha essence (better than the laniege skin refiner), the Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium and the Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. Kisses from Spain to everyone!💜💜💜
It's a true toss up between CSR and dr ceuracle, my skin cycles through both in different seasons but that dr ceuracle is definitely special in my heart!
I love the Sioris Cleanser and the Deep in a Barrier Cream. I want to try the Skinfood propolis essence, it sounds like heaven for dry skin!!!💓 Great video, Kelly!😘 You look amazingly pretty today!🤩
Thank you so much!! I hope you get to try the skinfood propolis and when you do please let me know what you think! 💕Sending good vibes your way too, enjoy the day!
I have super dry skin and I love using the I’m From Mugwort cream in the AM. I also use the cosrx snail 92 cream almost like a moisturizing serum/essence underneath a stronger moisturizer or sunscreen. My PM moisturizer right now is the newish CosRX Balencium Ceramide comfort cream and it’s awesome mixed w a few drops of camellia oil.
I’ve tried almost all of these and love them, especially the laneige cream skin refiner in mist form. I also have the sioris mists which I love throughout the day.
Yass Kelly🙌🏽 finally caught Skinfood royal honey on sale, I can't wait. Next up (Stratia).. Honorable Mentions: Klairs fundamental watery oil drop, Rovectin conditioning cleanser, Pyunkang Yul ato cream blue label,
This is what I was waiting for! 🙌🏽 I am waiting for the Laneige skin refiner to arrive! I hope it works well under a heavier moisturiser 🤞🏽Thank you Kelly! 😊
Kelly, please review NIOD , especially Superoxide Dismutase Saccharomyces Mist, Copper Amino Isolate Serum, Re:Pigment, Survival 0 and Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate ! You recommended RNW and of course I bought it. RNW has become my ride or die, won’t be without it supplement. Thanks
Hi everyone! Hope this comment will be seen by someone :) I don't know if I have dry skin, dehydrated skin... or maybe both? :'( My skin is super tight right after cleansing, I do get pimples sometimes (around that time of the month mostly) and they are always on my chin and around my mouth. Sometimes they are also on my cheeks. These pimples always leave dark scars on my skin. Before being commited to my skincare routine, I'd always get flakes on my nose and in between my eyebrows. I'd get like white tiny flakes falling off my skin when rubbing it or sometimes even touching it! I also had broke skin/lesions in the creases of my nose several times, but thanks God, I don't have it anymore. Now my skin is quite glowy thanks to the routine I build following Kelly and James' advices. Should I consider my skin dry or dehydrated? Thanks everyone!
I'm so glad you're making progress with your skin and honored to have been able to help! I think it might help you to know that skin types are oily, normal, combo and dry. Your skin will fall into one of these 4 types. Dehydration is a skin condition and happens to any skin type. So yes, it sounds like your skin is dry and dehydrated!
I am so excited to have found a very hydrating cream (not greasy) suitable for Very Sensitive skin (dry or slightly combo) with just the right amount of occlusivity. It is super affordable too! Beauty Bay Oat Moisturiser. I use it only at night now but it will be also perfect during the day when the weather cools down. :-)
I bought a mini of Cream Skin Refiner after seeing you talking about it só much. I have a combo dehydrated skin and was a little afraid that it could be too much for me. But I am in love! I have it in all my bags for Black Friday. Ready to stock it up. Thank you very much for giving me the confidence to try it! The I'm From Honey Mask also is a must have. And I can't thank you enough for that too! 💞 I'm obsessed for them! 🤣
Thank you for the Iunik Propolis sleeping mask recommendation. It sounds like something for me during the upcoming dry and cold winter months. I enjoy reviews for excellent products for affordable prices, especially for rosacea/redness or mature skin. I am finding Korean skincare to be wonderful.
I do use tamanu oil all winter and it's great; very calming. That sioris cream sounds really good as well as the oil (btw the oil link leads to the ato cream). Thank you for the recommendations.
This one isn't Korean but it's called SVR topialyse cream for people with dry skin to the point of itching and so on and I've been looking for a moisturizer that soothes and nourishes and this one was AMAZING. you should see if you can order it, it's a French lab derm brand like La roche posay but only sold in Europe really. It's also omega based and reminds me of the sioris one too
Now it's colder season my skin is craving anything from illyoon, my skin tend to get really dry and itchy in the colder months and illyoon is just my go to brand since 2018, also Kelly have you ever heard of the new Korean ginseng skin care brand dongin bi ? They primarily sell on Amazon and I heard really great things about it, particularly their red ginseng oil, really interested in ginseng right now cause of the claim that they can restore skin vitality, I just ordered it and I'm really excited to try it soon 😁
I wish I had a “normal” dry skin. My skin is dry alright, but also prone to redness and flushing. I can’t use HA or oils because they make me flush. Gels and silicones work well but those are usually formulated for oily skin types. Thankfully the LRP cica baume B5 works well for me.
I feel this. I have dry skin and am allergic to dimethicone. Once I overexfoliated and got hypopigmentation spots from malassezia for I needed fungal acne safe too. It was a struggle.
Using anti dandruff shampoo has been tremendously helpful controlling my (self diagnosed) malassezia. I thought since I have dry skin I should use cleansing oils and milks. What a disaster and it took me a long time to figure out that the oil cleanser was the cause of my horribly bumpy skin. And I did double cleanse with a gentle gel. I even used anti dandruff shampoo on my face to get the situation under control and it cleared my face really surprisingly quickly.
Have to suggest Pyunkang Yul black tea cream to this list... :) it's the only cream that kept my skin happy in the Norwegian winter.. Last year I had an infected eczema on my face...and this helped me build a good skin barrier...
New subscriber! 😁 I love your videos, I have dry, sensitive & eczema skin and for some reason the only cleanser that has worked for me is the Vanicream cleanser, I tried Cerave gentle cleanser, the Roche Posay and it irritates my skin.. ☹️ I have used over 4 bottles of the Vanicream cleanser and hasn’t irritate me at all, so I love it 🥰 btw I also love toners!! 🥰💜
Love the product recommendations Kelly. I have mixed feelings abt the iunik propolis sleeping mask however. Also find a ceramide cream, like the RNW or a dr jart to really help comfort my dry skin during the colder months.
have you tried the i’m from honey cream? i’m loving it for my dry skin. i tried the i’m from rice cream, and while it was nice, it didn’t do too much for my skin.
Great video Kelly love the Sioris milk cleanser which is amazing. Love the texture and consistency. I recently managed to get my hands on the Straita liquid gold which I am looking forward to trying. I love the Cosrx rice sleeping mask and have the new propolis mask on the way. I’m from honey mask is one of my favourites as well as illiyoon ato cream. I honestly think I have a skincare problem lol I love the laneige cream refiner and the I’m from rice cream and Serum. Keep up the good work Kelly
My skin is so dry but when I use products to hydrate and moisturize, it seems like near my jawline I get so many small bumps under my skin! What am I doing wrong????
AMAZING video, Kelly, and a much needed reminder on several products that I've been meaning to purchase for these upcoming drier months!!! Thank you!!!
Kelly, I got the isntree tw-real bifida serum (thanks to you) and my skin seems to drink it up! now I see cosrx has that galactomycies (sp?) toner mist stuff and was wondering if it has similar effects? I know you have spoken about galactomycies before but are they comparable? thanks!!
Can teenger use the ordinary s niacinamide serum for acne , acne scars, PIE and large pores? I am 16 years old . I have oily to combination skin, acne prone skin. You definately can use that product, but keep in mind while a looot of people find it very helpful, it can be drying and 10% can be irritating for some people.
Also don't forget spf in the morning routine, benzoyl peroxide and adapalene can make you more sensitive to the sun plus you want to prevent that PIE and PIH.

Yea absolutely! That's how I usually use it and Jacquelyn has a great tip about using micellar water as needed for a gentle alternative to oil cleansing.
I love your videos Kelly! I have watched almost all of them in a few days and I m scared that I will be out in a week... Hear me out!!😍we have very similar skin type and my absolutely favourite routines include sioris cleanser, hada labo cleansing oil, dr Ceuracle kombucha essence or Laneige cream skin refiner, rovectin biome forever young ampule(omg please try it) , illiyoon ato lotion and cream, haruharu oil( you will probably not like it because of the lavender oil) , and for the non tretinoin nights I always use La Roche posay cicaplast baume. It's tough to pick but based off classic skin types imo CSR is best for dry skin as it's incredibly rich and the Kombucha Essence is best for combo skin as it's both hydrating and moisturizing but in a lighter less rich layer. It will be in the combo video next week!
I’m so surprised you didn’t mention the Kombucha tea essence! I love the Sioris night cream as well, in the winter I mix in a pump of Stratia liquid gold and a drop of facial oil and my skin feels amazing in the morning. I am oily combo, but I never wake up oily when I do this! I think it’s because my skin doesn’t need to overcompensate by producing more oil. Loved both these videos, definitely have some holy grails and new finds in both!
Yes had my face plastered with Cerave healing ointment last night and have just purchased the Egyptian cream to open soon as it is so cold here in the UK
9:56 if this oil helps with breakout that means its not gonna cause acne for someone who’s not incredibly dry right? I don’t if i can say that im oily because my skin drinks up every cream I’ve tried, its not moisturizing enough and yet it breaks me out lol
It's more occlusive and locks in everything a little better but I think it's still in the same class of weight and thickness as Illiyoon. The thickest super dry skin moisturizer I've come across (too heavy for my face most of the time) is La Roche Posay Lipikar Balm.
LANEIGE CREAM SKIN REFINER IS A GAME CHANGER 👏👏👏
Been traveling and my skin is more dry than usual but CSR is saving me right now!
I'm so excited for this video! In the past week it's gotten colder and my skin is clearly telling me that my mid-weight transitional products are not cutting it anymore. Bring on the heavy hitters!
I know what you mean, my skin just started to feel that switch too!
Kelly I found a ceramide mist with Cholesterol, 5 different types of ceramides and other great ingredients high up in the list for $11! It's called THE LAB- PREBIOTIC CERA CREAM MIST.
Thanks so much for mentioning this! The cream and toner from this range look amazing as well. Would love to hear Kelly's thoughts on them :)
Ooh thanks. Imma check this out

I would love a top 10 or a routine for skin that can’t handle hyaluronic acid. Love all your videos! 💗
i second this!!

Same!!!!

My skin hates hyaluronic it dries out my skin
The La Roche Posay cicaplast baume b5 as moisturizer at night for sure !!
So good, I've been toping my skincare routine off with it at night now that it's getting cold and dry!
Absolutely! The best thing ever. I use it day and night.

Can teenger use the ordinary s niacinamide serum for acne , acne scars, PIE and large pores? I am 16 years old . I have oily to combination skin, acne prone skin. Currently i am using Cerave SA renewing cleanser; in night in once or twice in a week. Then i use Cerave hydrating cream to foam cleanser for every day use. That's my skin care routine for my skin..... Please suggest me something for my acne..😭😭🤔
Yea you can use Niacinamide, start with a low percent like 5%. Kelly has a bunch of videos like this for Acne

Hi Kelly! I have a question--we know we should apply around 2 finger lengths for gel/cream sunscreens. But how about for sunsticks like the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Airy Sunstick? If I wasn't using it to reapply but as the sole application, how much would be sufficient?
Always been curious about this! Many thanks ♥️
That's a great question and it's a harder SPF format to measure. I just always go by the mantra of apply generously and often more than I think I need. I usually swipe over each area about 2-3 times with a SPF stick to ensure I got even coverage.
Do you think I can use only the Sioris cleanser on days in which I don't have makeup on, just skincare and sunscreen ? Saying cause the double cleansing process is kinda irritating for my dry, sensitive skin
a moisturizing emulsifying oil cleanser or just miceller water works for me at the end of the day with just skincare and sunscreen on
Yea absolutely! That's how I usually use it and Jacquelyn has a great tip about using micellar water as needed for a gentle alternative to oil cleansing.
I love your videos Kelly! I have watched almost all of them in a few days and I m scared that I will be out in a week...

It's tough to pick but based off classic skin types imo CSR is best for dry skin as it's incredibly rich and the Kombucha Essence is best for combo skin as it's both hydrating and moisturizing but in a lighter less rich layer. It will be in the combo video next week!

It's more occlusive and locks in everything a little better but I think it's still in the same class of weight and thickness as Illiyoon. The thickest super dry skin moisturizer I've come across (too heavy for my face most of the time) is La Roche Posay Lipikar Balm.
Can we use the oil and the HA toner in the same routine? Since HA takes water from surrounding and oil makes a shield.
You can use them together! Oil does not create an occlusive impenetrable layer on your skin!
No need to wash off the vitamin sleeping mask?
Wash it off in the morning after sleeping!
