Time has changed so fast when I was in college at that time I bought my first smartphone that too Micromax and now students buy 1 lakh plus phones.
Infect, as I said in video he bought it after spending 1.5 years in Australia. Some people buy their first phone(iphone) in first couple of months after coming to Australia.

For job and work permit it is ok, but for PR you can no decide it from now, rules change every year. But for now yes you can get PR.
