Great Tour! I did this in July 2021 and it was a lot warmer. Was that a cold spring in 2023? This part was my favourite section of the tour because there are so view people.

Thanks you! I had 10 minutes of rain in 16 days, night temperatures did go below 0 a couple of nights, and the wind from north was cold but besides from that it was sunny and warm most days. I liked this section as well!

Hi! Thank you very much for your beautiful report. In August I'm going to do Sodra Kungsleden, I have 2 weeks to do it plus one day to get there and back. Do you think that at this time I can complete this trail without any great effort or rush? it amounts to 25 km a day, which in my case is not a big amount. I plan to cover 25 - 35 km a day. I've never been to that area and I don't know what to expect. I will be grateful for your advice. Kind regards!

Hey. Thanks a lot for your comment! I’m sure you can do it if you are in shape for doing 25km a day. The most challenging part is a couple of “blokmark” stretches in Rogen and just north of Hävlingestugan. Besides that, the ascends are not too demanding, and I assume that water crossings will be fairly easy in august.
      I wish you a great trip :-)
