hey man i am stuck in client side configuration in the step of show mount NFS server and whenever i passed the "showmount -e " i am facing this (clnt_create: RPC: Timed out)

@MPrashant . Getting error while trying to use showmount -e
Error : rpc mount error. Connection reset due to peer.
Firewall is disabled, permission has been granted to shared directory.
etc/exports file is properly configured
Seems like other side is not accepting the connection from this server.
Can you check the logs - /var/log/auth. log

This is for rhel based Centos
but we cannot stop firewall service , it is not recommended. So what is the alternative. Please advice. and we need to add the entry in fstab for permanent mounting even after reboot.
Alternative is allow this service in firewall. You can watch this video on Firewall
