Everyone (even his detractors) listens intently when Mr Chidambaram speaks on financial/economic/budgetary matters. It is a pleasure listening to him even to those who are not well versed on those subjects.
The Chairperson tried to interrupt the flow of his speech but Mr Chidambaram continued in the same vein as if nothing happened. Great analysis!

If the statements made by Mr Chidambaram, picked up from the government's own reports are to be believed, India is moving towards what we were taught in History Class to be the Medieval Era in European countries, when there were a few nobles and many many serfs to do their bidding.
