This is amazing! I'm class of '19 and I make Corps vlogs on my channel. Seeing this makes me realize that though the Corps has changed, the spirit is undying. Some things haven't changed after all these years. So proud to be a part of this wonderful tradition and family!
I'm another one who is super motivated to join the Corps by your videos. I'm a kid from Boston who can't wait to be an Aggie. I already have an acceptance at Boston College but I want this and mostly due to your videos. It won't be easy but anything worth achieving should never be easy.
@@johnvmi27 I'm class of '18 and I was in the Corps. It was hard especially in fish year/semester, but I think it's one of the best decisions I've ever made and never regretted! Work hard, both academically and on Corps exercise and activities, and you will get a lot out of it, physically and mentally, and won't regret it. Good luck! Gig'em!
Squadron 8 members featured at Parent's Day 10:10, L-R Don Pruitt, John Tidwell, and Chip Stem (RIP). Thank you for sharing this outstanding video! This was certainly the Texas A&M that I knew and loved. Interestingly, a female cadet was featured. They endured some difficult treatment in those times. I hope this has evolved for the better. Animal 8 '83.
The "whipping out" requirement -- introducing yourself to upperclassmen -- is the most effective cure for shyness ever developed. After about a week as a fish, you feel no compunctions whatever about meeting and greeting other people, whatever their station in life.
