Never before have I heard such a deep and brilliant message on the subject. Understanding love in this sense is so meaningful, so helpful! "I want you in my life" - that's so powerful! It goes way beyond saying "I love you". Why? Because it's more than an emotion - it's an action: I make room for someone else in my life. Not only for some-thing from the other, but for the entire other person. Yes - that's really love!

Love is that which inspires your morals. Admiration is that which inspires your ideals.
They are often overlapping which makes them hard to distinguish especially since we love our ideals and admire our love. So we pray for neither one to smother the other in their entangled state.

Love is unquantifiable but its vastness is able to teach an individual...its flipant, forgiving, powerful, drives men, women and kids growing up trying to 'figure love out' yet remains unquantifiable "if i could tell you how much i love you'.
Were instructed very early love... Love the lord G_d with all your heart etc.. The amazing beautiful imperfect throw away comment of greatness 4 letters many find they're unable to say it.. The whole world draws breath waiting for him to say it... Thank you HaShem love is awesome

Delighted to hear this topic of “Love”. An interesting “broad” definition: “a pursuit of closeness”. I am requesting another definition that has worked for all who have practiced “Real Love”: “Wanting happiness for someone else without expecting anything in return.” I believe the by-product of this unconditional love practice that I offer as a definition will create the closeness desired. We have everything to remain full. It is our job to make healthy requests and not demands of others. Expectations (with few exceptions) disappointments and even anger is always wrong. Instead of practicing “getting” and “protecting” behaviors to get what we want, we are always in choice every moment. We all need to be seen, heard and loved. Isn’t the purpose of life to be of service to humanity? Love is not about keeping score or trading. It’s about personal responsibility and dropping all blame.

I've thought about this a TONNE. Love is the giving of oneself for the betterment / wellbeing or creation of other. It is the oppositional force to hate which is the using self for the destruction of other.

The example of the couple who verbally abuse each other but still remain together is really a true definition of love? I see it more like a trauma bond, getting too codependent on your abuser without the strenght to leave. How is such an environment a healthy one for the ones involded and for their children? Having disagrements is normal, but wanting to critisize, put down or blame the other is not! Toxicity means when you are fighing the other instead of fighiting the problem. A true act of love may mean sometimes to step away and leave. You can still love someone from a distance and wish them well instead of attacking them. Also..from verbal abuse to physical abuse it s just a small step. Staying in such situations can literally put your life in danger. How is this love? I just can t see it.

To love is to learn how to let go of something that was not yours in the first place. Then and ONLY then, can you truly find love ,in return, at the right moment when you need it the most.

Rabbi Friedman is a hustling styled salesman & masterful orator. His audaciousTorah citings are manipulatively designed to persuade, convince & indoctrinate that it's gotta be God's way no matter what. Presented with a plausible summation, by a quasi staged Rabbi/Actor, YT performances are generating very substantial revenues-income from ads and subscriber clicks. A Real Smartie !

So, before a man becomes a husband, and before a woman becomes a wife, each one can have a desire for more closeness with several people, sort of simultaneously. For example, a man may want Sue in his life, but also Linda and Jill. His life is an open house. Anybody can come in.
