There are a few officers in the SCPD who either demonstrate an excellent ability in SOLO pursuits, or are rich enough to afford making their police vehicle's livery look unique compared to the rest of the fleet.

Idk why they made the V12 Vantage silver instead of white, but I always saw it as a standard highway patrol unit
This may be just my bias, but the Vantage and most Astons in general look great in Silver. I think Criterion's team wanted to have sort of differentiator between the SCPD DBS and Vantage, 'cause to someone not well versed in cars, the 2 would look practically identical.
In Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) The Lamborghini Gallardo has an Polizia livery but in the remastered it was translate to Police
