The Yamato crit on bankai is usable lol you just crit with Yamato while in bankai and it does the cool shi if you land it 🙏 Edit: I didn’t know you figured it out mb gang
Ur fighting it wrong, NEVER try to combo bankai bosses mf npcs have AP you will get cooked. Just run, crit use 1 skill and run (ONLY use Fast Fang, Time Cut, Waterfall dance, Floating strikes, flash fang, unseen blade (W/o combo extender)) otherwise there is a good chance he can parry stun you into some devious combo. Not only that, NEVER do it without phantom trick you need to constantly have a gap between you and the NPC so that the AI focuses on reaching you and not use any skills (There are certain exceptions depending on the element) and always use the base crit for obvious reasons. You can also wait a little bit before using a skill after GB to save flashstep and skill cooldowns trust me you will 9 times out of 10 first try it if you simply get used to it this way, I legit used to get bankai of any element im stuck with the second i was stuck with it on first try back when they gave like 5-10 rerolls per code it's so easy. Note : It's way easier in kendo since you have external guardbreaks and flowing petals + flower passage to instantly open the gap inbetween especially good when u miss a crit since u have bisection instead (MAKE SURE TO GO PRESSURE SHIFT for decent enough flashstep speed and CD) you can also use vertical down instead of the crit into split gate whenever you can to kill it insanely fast thought landing vertical like that requires a little practice since the boss sometimes just jumps over you for no reason and overpowering slash just saves u out of many situations if ur stunlocked (Don't use eviscerate after gb though it most of the times causes npc to go offensive since how close you land next to it and he will most likely parry any extender so not worth it)
