White dude in my mid 50s now and I never knew about lotion till I watched this Bill Burr skit, no joke 🤣🤣
WOW! 😂
Me too. Still haven't. Don't know where to even start.
@@Pandarahexact same story!
59 yrs old and I'm the same lol
@@TheColdrush22
I dated a black girl in college, it didn't go over well with my family at the time but I didn't care. Being a white guy growing up in an all white community I had no idea about black culture. She taught me alot.
We both graduated from Oklahoma State in 2002 and we just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in January and have 3 beautiful kids.
This skit hits home for me because Bill is right, both white and black people need to get out of their comfort zone and mingle more. It's always that group of white people on one side and black people on the other. It doesn't have to be that way.
that’s so true. i remember my senior level english literature class in high school. i grew up in the deep south and my class was mixed about 50/50 black and white. the teacher let us choose our own desks and the class self segregated perfectly right down the middle. black kids were on one side and white kids were on the other. no one made us do that. it always kinda blew my mind.
@@bigw725 It has to do with the conditioning which they have experienced since they were born.
Totally get it man, i was a white kid in Palo Altro California extremely multicultural, got moved to rural Maine military base town in elementary school and it was all white small town Christian. Lone exception for the small group of mostly black navy families in one block i lived next to. I just fell naturally into hanging out with that group of kids and meeting their b families bbecause to me it was just normal to be hanging with people you don't look like. Had no idea how it world turn into this weird social dynamic where i was looked at oddly at school for being close to the black kids. I got to witness first hand how both sides were just blind to each other's perspectives and lived experience.
To this day i try and tell all my friends to try and stay open minded and willing to learn from each other, it leads to much better collective outcomes. Almost all working Americans value the same shit with an overlap of like 80%. but we are all discarding wisdom each and everyone has to offer because the last 20% is so easy to fixate on. But it's a much more enriching life to know and love thy neighbor and the bonus is that you truly get to learn solutions you'd never considered before.
Same with me when I married my wife. She was born in Hawaii and came from Chinese/Filipino culture. She showed me alot and it made me interested in several other cultures.
I'm white and the lotion bit is 100% accurate. xd It's true as fuck, man. I started using lotion after I watched that video for the first time. xd
😂🤣 no WAY! BRUH!
@NoloTee WAY!!
this 65 year old white guy never knew of this either.
Yes , we know it's moisturizer, but most guys think only women use it.
Im 32 and I still never used it lol I probably will at some point
A lot of white women got the memo. I don't know any women who don't use it.
White men...we totally missed the seminar lol. I use it here and there, but usually just face and hands, and definitely not everyday. I absolutely have started to look like an aging pirate lol. I also have a lot of body hair so it feels uncomfortable putting it on, same with sunscreen. It never seems to fully rub in, even with the very small amount I use. My skin always feels slick, sweaty, and oily when I do. I honestly hate the feeling with it on...RIP my skin when I'm older, I already look like shit at 31 lol
Speak for yourself it must be due to location there's 2 aisle of lotion not only black people are buying that lotion we just use less of it I'm out here in the hot dry Southwest
I saw this bit by Bill a several years ago I was a 40 year old white person, and that was the first time I heard about the lotion thing. His comments about hating the winter, and changing his towels to try and stop the itching, is a 100% shared experience. I was on a swim team in the winter too, so the combination of winter and chlorine, was a double whammy. Still never thought about using lotion, and just suffered through it.
No way!
Average unknown white guy from Michigan... I didn't know about lotion till I saw this bit from Bill Burr at age 28. I'd say white girls most likely know about lotion and use it appropriately... but white guys... maybe in the younger generations, but I'd say 80% of white guys older than 30, have probably never used lotion anywhere near as much as we should have. I genuinely can't remember *_ever_* seeing a male friend of mine putting on lotion. Not at sleep overs, getting ready to go out, nothing, ever.
I still don't use it enough but at least I know why I'm itchy in the winter now.
😂🤣 man thats insane to me lol
@@NoloTeeRegluar ass white guy here, can confirm these are facts. I really thought all lotion smelled like flowers and was for girls until I was about 30. Thanks to bill for raising lotion awareness.
@@NoloTee It's true. Whitey McWhiteface here and I know about it but still don't use it. White women do though.
Nah, im 42 and used it for as long as i can remember
i’m 34 and white and didn’t discover lotion until my mid 20s. i always avoided it because i hate the greasy slippery sensation of it, but i always got itchy after showers and thought it was because my towel was dirty. this joke blew my mind when i first heard it
.22 Caliber and Helicopter Story are gems from Bill.
I have helicopter on the list but not .22....let me add it lol
@@NoloTeeJust DON'T do the animated version of the helicopter story -- get the one from the special!!!!
I’m over 50 years old and never knew anything about lotion until about 10 years ago. This is 100% accurate.
There is no possible way...HOW!? 😂....its crazy bc in all the skin scare commercials they used to use white actors, but damm now yall telling us that marketing didn't work after all these years? 😂🤣
@NoloTee Let me clarify. Most white GUYS don't know about lotion. Most of us think it's a makeup product. It's actually funny how a lot of guys will actually make fun of you for using lotion regularly.
@@NoloTee for most white men a huge reason is its just to them its seen as a "girl thing" or "feminie thing" so commercials or not most white dudes just think its for girls so they have soft skin most probably dont know all black people use it or if they do they just assume white people dont get ashy and thats why but yeah a lot of white dudes just have this idea that its something only girls use and just dont know that they can benifit too
also agreed with what thomas said for most white guys usualing lotion will get you made fun of by other dudes and jokes about how youre feminine or gay for using it its dumb honestly
As a white woman, I’ve about lotion my whole life and can’t live without it…. And I still look old lmao 🤣
🤣😂
White dude here in my 30's and besides suntanning lotion and aloe vera (summers in Phoenix are rough) never would of thought about it until I first saw this bit. I 100% was the guy that was thinking "yeah what about lotion" the first time I saw this 😅
I'm white and did not start using lotion until my early 30s, his whole joke about getting itchy in the winter... that was my life. I literally don't know why other than hearing lotion was for girls my whole life growing up
Nooooo waaayyyy bro....no way!....just no way 🤣....man this is crazy to me, no disrespect intended
The double entendres scratching while telling the rapper about th unregistered gat is pure genius yu heard!!

White dude here and I can confirm this is true, just started putting on lotion last year after 27 years of being on this earth😂
😂
Dont smack the lovely lady SIR!!! lol

Do "Old Man Face." Hilarious!
Have you done a reaction on he and his wife arguing over Elvis? 😂
Nope 🤣 didn't even know it existed
We had no lotion in the house hrowing up. I now always a few different types of it. But yah, he's kinda right. 😂
Like Bill, I am a pasty, bald, bearded Bostonian. Apart from my hands in the winter, I never gave a thought to lotion until I saw this bit a while back. Classic.
So crazy to me lol...happy Bill stepped in 😂🤣
White dude here, always used lotion at night growing up…. But low key, it was inspired by black friends LOL 🤙
🤣😂
I'm white and 32 and IV seen lotion like maybe 10 times in person 😂
Tee has a great poker face, but she lost it here! I’ve never seen her laugh so hard!!!😂😂
😂🤣, shes warming up to the harshness of stand up comedy LOL
White guy here; Dated a Haitian girl for a few years… before that I never used lotion. Sooooo this is all pretty accurate from my perspective. 😂
😂
german here, we are whitey white and i never heard about lotion until i saw this bit by bill burr.... its 100% true
Even in Germany???? No way this is a worldwide thing lol…no way…ive never even heard of this stereotype, bc yall are making me believe this is a stereotype now 🤣😂
This is exactly how I laugh at Bill Burr. Rollin.
Facts🤣
I feel left out. Us Chippewa-Cree get ashy, too!! Bill is a comic genius.

Never knew about lotion till I saw this bit from Bill 😂
How is that possible LOL
Hey this bit is great! And also, audio is 👌🏼👍🏼😂 perfect

I have seen this bit 100 times and am still laughing my ass off with ya. Thank you...
🤣😂💯
Much better my friend 👍👍
After watching this clip for the first time....at 62 I started using lotion😂 true story.
P.S. Find Burrs story about the hellicopter
Here in Europe we have our turtlenecks so we dont need the lotion there either. So we're pretty crisp.
🤣😂 thats hilarious bc lotion is for every part of your body not just your neck 😂🤣
I remember my German buds getting skin cancer from lying out in the sun with no sunscreen in Mallorca.
I discovered lotion thanks to this stand up routine. Now I am covered in cocoa butter night and day.
And you're using the good s#!t 😂🤣
White woman here. The only lotion I ever wore was sunscreen when I went to the beach, then I FINALLY figured out why I was itchy. Now I use it every day. 😂
Wow lol
5:39 Bro almost dieddd😂😂😂
🤣😂
Never used lotion, never used a washcloth. No defense for the first, but for the second:
We've always had either shared shower gel and our own loofahs or our own bar of soap. Seemed fine 🤷🤣
You guys gotta do Andrew Shultz sometime. His crowd work is great and he says some wild shit. 😂 There was one crazy video where a woman has a seizure during his show. What follows after that is just classic Andrew.
I need to add that to the list
He is a fool😂😂😂😂😂
Love you two.🤩🤩
Thank you 🙏🏾
I am Caucasian
Lotion was not part of my life until I saw this bit a year ago🤣
Nope....im not believing ANY of you all...i refuse too 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
Love the Astros gear! Nice choice 🤙🏽
💯💯💯
That ‘Stros gear is on point bro!
💯💯💯
8:08 its true AF i never realized until after i watched this a few years ago i use it after that 😂
😂😂
5:48: No, we didn't! We heard about it first from Bill Burr!
I can only speak from my own perspective being a white dude. I never knew any white people that I hung around with as a kid and well into my twenties that used lotion. It was never a discussion either though. I grew up in Cali back in the 80's and 90's and everyone I hung around with had different backgrounds, but lotion was never a discussion among anyone regardless of ethnicity. All the people I hung around with, it was a very diverse group of people. It might have been used, but it was never something we would discuss. lol
Continue down the Bill Burr road, his material is almost always spot on and still relevant. Good reaction as always.
White women use it. Moisturizer.
I lived in Houston mid to late eighties - was a exciting time for the Astros, and the Rockets.
Awesome!! Nice to see both of you LOL!!!! Makes me LOL too!! Keep up the good work. Bill Burr!!!! Yeah Baby
It's True 🤷😂 I enjoyed the reaction ✌️🤠🍻
😂 appreciate that 💯
60 years old and didn't know about lotions till I watched this.
Hoooooow??? 😂
@NoloTee I still don't use any lotions, and my friends never used any either. My wife did the scratch test and no flakes. Wihite women in my life do but mostly on their elbows and knees.
I love y’all Energy very entertaining for scribing for sure
💯💯💯🙏🏾
Some of us white boys who grew up in "multicultural communities " learn about lotion early. Junior high in the '80s was brutal. Then I married a Hispanic woman. Y'all are funny.
😂😂🤣🤣💯
Great to watch with less commentary. You guys look like you enjoy it more. Certainly your girl does . Thanks and keep it coming
Yall just got lucky on this one 😂🤣.
White dude in my 30's here. I can confirm, until his standup I never thought of Lotion. I have not ever, and still have not, used lotion. Partly because I keep forgetting, but also because I have a sensory issue with it.
Jersey 🔥 ❤from Houston yall
Also, so very true, husband (and myself) very white, he works outside, he fishes a lot, about once a year he requests my moisturizer.
💯💯💯💯
WOW! Lol....hubby a beast to be around water all day and not lotion, a mans mans 😂🤣
Got this as a second opinion after the "no reason to hit a woman video". Okay yall cool. New subscriber 💪❤️
Idk if it’s that white people don’t know about lotion so much as a lot of us just don’t use it regularly. I know I don’t but as I’m in my thirties now I’m trying to remember to use it more often 😂
Hahahha, man its a ritual in our house lol. T spends good money on all this damm lotion in this house 🤣😂
Love watching you guys laugh.gj
💯🙏🏾 thank you
same only until i got married when i see my wife slanders it on herself twice a day, so i was just curious. my skin nice now xDdd
🤣😂
It's true. I didn't know about lotion until I was 30.
Tropical cocoa butter😊
😂😂😂 As a white guy that’s been married to a black girl 26 years now. The ONLY thing that caught me off guard was the first time I saw my then girlfriend use a hot comb 😂😂😂. I was AMAZED. 😂😂😂 I didn’t see what she was doing at first. But I smelt something. I asked
“Baby,,, What smells like burning Fruit Loops?” I heard her BUST out laughing and I heard a “OUCH!!” 😂😂😂😂 I set and watched and was amazed.
But I’m not a watcher. I’m a doer. I watched, learned and started helping her with it. Need that head greased or scratched??? I got you. Tired of burning yourself and running from the stove to the bathroom mirror? I got you. Want micro braids??? Here’s $300, the Africans got you 😂😂😂
🔥🔥🔥 and 😂😂😂😂
I'm a 42 year old white guy and I just started using lotion a few years ago lol. He is dead on correct
yes, I didn't know about lotion either.........lol
Lol no way
Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it.
💯💯💯 thank you for watching.
I of course knew about lotion as does everyone but no 35 years almost never used it and I always got itchy in the winter 😂
Yall should react to Bill Burr- Zombies, Shotties & Good Spread
White girl who grew up with lotion. Idk how others never got the notification 🤷🏻♀️ but as a daycare teacher I can definitely tell you that it’s not just white people. I’ve had so many different kids in my class whose parents never got the memo..
😂🤣
34 year old white guy here…. Never bought lotion. lol I’ve used it maybe a handful of times.
Dude, you could totally voice Kevin Hart.
You sound exactly like him.
🤣😂 really??????

Im a massage therapist and i like in a prominently white town and hes right, they always suck up all my massage lotion lol just dryyyyy
😂🤣😂🤣
Nolo. I like your glasses.
Appreciate that, I love them as well, huge collector of vintage frames
As a white man... I had to learn....
Obviously, this doesn’t include everyone, but it definitely includes men. I’m Latino, my wife is white. She’s been using lotion all of her life, I never did until I met her. 😂 …but she also went to a predominantly black school, so maybe that’s where she picked it up like you said.
Shout out to wifey for putting you on 😂🤣
White guy here. Never used lotion unless I was sunburned
Thats INSANE 😂 does lotion fix sunburn?
@@NoloTeeThe aloe vera stuff if it's pure supposedly does. Had a girl stay the night at my house when I was a teenager, we were down by the river all day and she was burned bad. Asked me for Windex, I was like WTF? Sure here ya go started just spraying herself with it... Couple minutes later, ahhh it burns worse than before!!! Well you asked me for Windex never heard of that before, oh well see you didn't ask if it had ammonia in it... Swear on my life that's a true story
I never used lotion until I got sleeve tattoos. I was at a bar my friend worked at and I asked her if she had any lotion, she asked why and I stuck out my arms and said because I’m ashy. The black lady sitting next to me laughed so hard she spit her drink across the bar. I asked what was so funny and she said “I didn’t know you all got ashy but you look like you have been rolled in flour”. I bought her a drink and we have been friends since. Her nickname for me is Ashley and I call her Spitter. Her husband hates both nicknames.
same never owned a bottle of lotion untill i saw this special. then i was like wow that makes a lot of sense. still don't use it as much as i should got 38 years of bad habbit to break
I use lotion but this is hilarious.
😂🤣
The only reason I know about lotion is because my skin got so dry in the winter that my skin actually started bleeding, and touching my hands felt like petting a bearded dragon.
Gtfoh no way‼️
@NoloTee I am not kidding. My skin was a fucking time bomb as a kid.
A lot of us white guys used to feel that using lotion was too girly and un-manly. and that lotion use was strictly for women. Ah, life pre-2000
I've seen a lot of reactions to this, i havent seen many people laugh that hard though. I can't speak for all the white folks but this one has an almost identical story to Bill. I was 31 not 33, we were ending the night not starting it. Her first time staying over and showering here, busts out this big tub of cocoa butter after the shower. I no longer itch in the winter or wash clean towels thinking theyre dirty.
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 woooooooowwwww
Bill doesn't specifically mention that the black girl who introduces him to lotion is his wife, we all just assume that because they met before this special aired.
I'm 34, my roommate in college was a black guy. I played varsity basketballand lived in NY but never lived with a brother. I didn't know about lotion until I was 18, not gonna lie. "what's cocoa butter?" I just thought it was something girls used haha
🤯
36yr old white guy never used lotion it was just always in with the women's stuff like makeup and the expensive shampoo so we just never bothered touching it the same way you just don't think to put on your wife/partner/mother's foundation or mascara or whatever it's just not a thought
Sup fam, Waiting on some more Patrice.
Got cha next week
@NoloTee Sounds good, family.
White guy checking in. I didn't use lotion because I could never fully wash it off completely. The steering wheel of the car would feel slippery. My feet felt like wet bacon grease in my socks. Eventually I came around and use it now. But you gotta go high end lotion. Lubriderm. It soaks in quick. That 1 gallon jug of Vaseline lotion with the pump on top is cheap for a reason. I think it's made from dolphin tears.
LOLOLOLOL....those are all the feelings we like LOL, slippery toes are the best
This is very much true. I went to high school in the early 70s. (75% white)You know after showing before you put your clothes on i was putting on lotion . This white classmate ask me what i was doing? He said " lotion " ... for what?!!!
I am a white guy and Bill Burr taught me about lotion.
I just CAN NOT believe yall 🤣

Thank you 💯🙏🏾
Most white men do not use lotion 😂 we learn about it when we get a girl. I couldn’t believe how smooth my girls skin was, turns out there’s a reason 😂
I'm white, I'd use lotion when skin gets dry mainly hands n elbows, since a kid...just common sense, started fully using on my arms once I got tattoos so they stay as fresh as possible
67 year old male only started using lotion a few years ago after seeing this video.
No way!
as a white girl i didnt know about lotion fully til i saw this skit a few yrs ago lmao. I will admit some white girls tend to use lotion more but not all the ones that know more use it on their arms legs etc but for most white people that i know lotion was just something you put on your hands/feet when they felt dry (mostly girls) and then some used it more on their arms/legs
went maybe 28 years only using lotion on my hands/feet sometimes when they felt dry 💀
Gosh she's pretty 😊
Isn't she lol...i love her with all i have!
As someone that uses Vaseline cocoa butter…this is hilarious and I’m happy y’all saw this.
White women know about and use lotion, but I think we only started using it on our faces in the past decade or so lol. Growing up, lotion was considered a girly product like makeup. The men wouldn't dare touch it! 😂 I think it's slowly changing a bit nowadays but Bill is spitting facts here. The only lotion white men used to MAYBE use was that working hands ish, like if you're a mechanic or a roofer, the hardcore ish
53 year hold honky signing in. The answer is NOPE....we don't know about lotion.
😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
