If i have this prob an the censor went out would my car just stop moving? Cause I can put it in park an start it an it will run in first gear an then shake an not go into second but a wierd noise is coming from the front driver side wheel
If only mine was that easy. I have a 2013 SE and harness goes up to the right side and disappears under more plastic shields. I had to repair the wire instead because it wasn't anywhere I could see in the winter temps and being outside.
What if I just outright mangled that clip? lol. It still fits snug but it doesn't actually clip together. Seems like there's no way it could come apart but I'm tempted to just go nuts with electrical tape just to make sure lol
You should try and change a 2013 up here in upstate ny with years of salt and sand etc lol. Had wheel bearing went bad had to take the whole knuckle off and use 80 ton press to remove bearing after trying everything else . The sensor was so brittle it broke apart trying to remove I had to carefully drill out the old one
@@mechanicbuilt done that before but with the aluminum knuckle and upper and lower control arms the heat can mess up the protective heat treatment on it and the upper and lower control arms even at a low temp. I’ve seen those break after using heat on them under load. But for a majority of vehicles I agree with you on the torch lol
I see these posts all the time. Makes me kinda glad I live down here in the south! Shoveling snow also, don't sound like fun! Ugh, the heat in the summer tho! I DEFINITELY see why people with money head north to travel in the summer!
I think so. My sensor was burning out from the wire and was losing connection every now and then until it finally stopped. Wrapped it up in electrical tape and the connection got a little stronger. But yes the steering gets a little tough and low speeds like when you park
Used standard ignition wheel speed sensors here is the front left amzn.to/3PsVJSq Here is the front right amzn.to/3QKjiY8 No issues after 50k miles on the new sensors
Forscan is a great free trail software for fords but you have to buy hardware to use it. If you can find anyone who can read the body codes on a obd scanner. That may be your cheapest or even free option to find which ones are bad. If you find out which axle the bad sensor is replace the otherside also.
I'm looking at replacing the sensor on the rear passenger side. The previous wheel bearing hub had a thru hole whereas the new one has an ABS sensor port on the back side. The Energi service manual also notes that the rear hub would have an ABS port integrated into it...
Thank you so much for the video! Saved me so much money. Job was simple and quick!!
Thanks for the help made the job easier to dive into
Super helpful going to do this tonight when I get home

This sounds more like a cv drive axle joint and possibly a transmission issue.

Did your abs lights go away? I'm having the same issue
Could you list all of the list and issues?
My car is throwing sensor errors on all the tires. Do you think its really all the sensors or is it possibly something else??

Is it the same for a 2010 fusion hybrid? Mine has service advance trac and I was told it’s the electronic abs
Yes the only difference is energis just have a bigger battery pack
Do you know how I can tell which wheel sensor it is?
Scan tool
Does your steering wheel get stiff when all of the dash lights cut on? Usually when making tight turns?
mine got stiff when it happened
Is there any difference with a hybrid
I just bought a 2015 fusion, abs comes on sometimes and wheel gets hard to turn etc. is that a speed sensor problem?
My fusions steering wheel got hard and went away due to the wheel speed sensors also

Wich website you bought it from apparently my ford dealer brought me similar but not match piece
Used standard ignition wheel speed sensors

How can i know wich of the four sensors is damaged?

Any issue with rail fuel pressure sensor?
Never had to touch the engine except for spark plugs i do have a issue with my seat belt sensor causing my airbag light to go off
did you reset the censor? or did you just leave it that way
Its as simple as unplugging the bad one and plugging the new one in!
