I go to the Battlefield around one day a month. Live in Chattanooga. It was the very FIRST Civil War Battlefield to be Federally purchased and Protected. Although it is the Civil War Battlefield with the Second amount of casualties...you could hide Gettysburg in Chickamauga. And it was a total of around 120,000 troops overall. First Nighttime Attack as well, by Patrick Cleburne's Division.
Sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost the login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Clay Emery Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
I just realized one of my ancestors, George W. Allen, was wounded in this battle. He lived from 1841 to 1908 so I guess he survived his wounding. He was a corporal with the 19th OVI Company C. It's kind of weird to watch this, it's like I keep slipping into looking at it through his eyes.

Yes. 22 Alabama does the Rebell Yell. 👍👍👍👍👍
Interesting. My great great Grandaddy fought in that battle. I wonder if that is what the rebel yell sounded like? I'm turning into a history geek.
"Chick-a-maug-a! CHICK-A-MAUG-A! *CHICK-A-MAUG-A!"* Chanted the boys in blue as they avenged their fallen brothers from the previous battle.
This has good visuals but confusing commentary.
Ever heard of Devils in the pale moon light , well that looks like it besides it being day
Those rifles sound kinda funny...like a crack...is this the real sound of those Springfield muscets???
Nope, the sound is different when a bullet is shot. More sharp and deep.
They just firing blanks because it is a reenactment.
Musket...you mean musket
