Good investment discussion forum. I am for Ghana's industrialization using its abundant resources but we have to seriously think about the damages to the environment. Look at what galmsey has done to the water bodies and the land bodies. You will have no country call Ghana if you allow the Chinese and the corrupt government officials to continue destroying and polluting Ghana. What galmsey has done is a crime against humanity, Ghanaians, the ancestors and the Gods of the land called Ghana. Those responsible need to be punished well. Laws should be put in place and enforced. God bless Ghana.
It is not Chinese who is destroying our water bodies, but Ghanaians. Do not blame politicians alone, but average Ghanaian does not love the country. The law says do not have illegal mining in the country: guess who is disobeying the law, Ghanaian and not Chinese. Blame your own brothers and sisters. We (Ghanaians) are very selfish, we do not care about obeying laws. If all of us do not care about the betterment of the nation, but individualism, we are going no where, but stagnant nation. The government says do not litter, but some of us do continue to litter. The government says no bribery and corruption, but the same Ghanaians who call themselves Christians take bribes. There are others who are selling water in plastic bottles. These plastics are destroying our land and water bodies; if the government puts a stop to it now, those companies will say we will not vote for the present government. If we love our country, we will stop and find another means.
