That’s a good idea to create a BRICS currency for trade only and does not replace the individual currency of the member countries, not like the euro. Because the introduction of the euro in the EU has created an inflation as all prices have gone up due to the conversion. The purchasing power of the Europeans declined overnight and lots of money was lost in oblivion because it was not converted into the euro. The de-dollarization does not need a BRICS currency. Trading in yuan or in own currency is the prime goal of this process.

There aren't huge chunks of voters happy with the choice of rejecting BRICS and continuing the pathological ties with the US and de IMF. I think this may allow the current government the few extra votes it needs to maintain power in spite of the turmoil it got into

That’s a good idea to create a BRICS currency for trade only and does not replace the individual currency of the member countries, not like the euro. Because the introduction of the euro in the EU has created an inflation as all prices have gone up due to the conversion. The purchasing power of the Europeans declined overnight and lots of money was lost in oblivion because it was not converted into the euro. The de-dollarization does not need a BRICS currency. Trading in yuan or in own currency is the prime goal of this process.
