Marika just accepted the pots in her Golden Order and gave them a home because they're what remained of her people, but since they were "reborn" and became fully different beings (like Alexander) she never kept them close.
I am a bit sad he didn't get to the scorpion and bear area underneath the ruins, but otherwise it was a fun run.
