@@boxheadmr exhaust? We went around the seal with a bright LED light from the outside amd couldn't see any light leaking on the inside, the exhaust should be routed to past the rearmost opening on the cabin (tail gate in this case)
It's still working great, the owner tells me he had to tweak the adjustment on the hinges, because even though rain wasn't getting in, when he was power washing a couple of dribbles of water were sneaking past the seals. Since the tweak, it hasn't leaked a drop of water.
Shit Simon, that was a Milwaukee electric ratchet, and drill driver - heathen! Obv using 'ol mates toolbox? Thanks for posting; it ended up looking pretty good - and practical for the pie oven access!!
Fantastic idea despite the hardware is a bit over the top. There are more and more product coming available on the market as the idea gets around pretty fast due to the fact that they are very useful options. Great video, very nice to watch.
What's your FAVORITE touring mod?
270 deg Ostrich Wing Awning.
centre console fridge. Nothing beats it for long days behind the wheel.
23zero 270° awning (with walls for winter)
Rear drawers
Long range fuel tanks.
Water tanks and 3 spare tyres..
On my list to get a set of these...At least I know someone who knows how to install them :) :)
Who? :)
Great work fellas, just what i needed to watch be fitted.
Glad you like it!
Im looking at a pair of these for my 200 series. Cheers Steve
Who's Steve? I'm Simon! :)
@@LockyourHubs4WDing Pretty sure Im Steve lol.
Heard of issues with leaking by another youtuber, Not sure if it was instal issues or not though.

Love to see the Cruiser company one installed as a comparison... no kitchen cupboard hinges in there kit
I'll have to check it out.
Interesting to compare these to cruiser co gull wings and the very expensive importer Yotateq ones.
This emu wing branded full wing is still working great!
Hey mate I'm doing this install myself now. What size are those nuts in your windscreen at 11:00 ?
Great review! looks great how did it fare several months down the road ?

I had moved over to the dark side for that one! Though back on Makita now.
@@LockyourHubs4WDing I feel better knowing that lol.
Yes they are good, can grab a drink without having to open the back, especially if you have wheel carriers
I spoke to the owner a little while ago, he's still really happy with it.

Great video, very nice to watch.
Thanks! With the options available these days, it's hard to know where to start!
I only make it like 1.1 seconds in before I start to smile.
Hahah!
Love my emuwing. Pain getting the gas’s out of a 200 though, any tips?
Gasses out of a 200? Could you please explain a little more?
Sorry mate, fat fingers🙄. I meant the rear side wagon “glass” on the 200s. They’re a fixed panel.
Oh ok, no worries mate, I'm well aquainted with fat thumbs! Unfortunately, I haven't done an Emu Wing on a 200 before.
Mate that is so expensive
I’m sorry to say
Those materials would not go over a hundred bux seriously
The fixing hardware alone would be more than $100.
$700 WOAHHHHH There pumped up that price $850 Now 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Damn!
Don't know why they haven't made one for a Prado 150 yet.
You would think a model for both the 150 and 120 would be very popular.
Like the mod but my build wouldn't work with them and 700 bucks is a bit high for shits and giggles. Because you couldn't do just 1 😉
That's gonna double the price! Though would allow access to twice the Travel Buddys!
