I'm not American,I'm Dutch, but I love this! What a wonderful collaboration with Lee Greenwood and The United States Air Force band. One by one such beautiful voices which match so well with the voices of Home Free. The fact that Lee Greenwood remains the center of attention I think shows a lot of respect for this great singer. But Adam Rupp tops it off with his incredible beatboxing/vocal percussion/vocal sounds. He is inhuman.

I'm Canadian and I remember hearing that song played on local radio stations when it was new (yeah - I'm that old). Lee Greenwood sounds even better now and - as you said - the addition of the Singing Sergeants was genius. Any time Home Free collaborates with other singers (Kenny Rogers, Alabama, Charlie Daniels, The Oak Ridge Boys, Avi Kaplan among others), they're always respectful of them and ensure they're highlighted. Love your channel - keep being you!

Lee Greenwood wrote and recorded this song back in the 80's, it was one of his biggest hits. And you do realize there wasn't actually a drum, that was Home Free's Adam Rupp, one of the worlds greatest beatboxers.

Thank You for reacting to this video, I knew you'd like it. This one personally makes me smile every time I listen to it. Lee Greenwood who not only wrote this but made it famous, still has an amazing voice. And Adam Rupp was the only instrument used in this whole video, & I didn't know if you heard Adam at the very end of the song, he does a flyover with his voice as well. See you soon, take care & God bless. ❤️

I told you that this was an awesome rendition of this song. Home Free nailed it. Lee Greenwood nailed it. And so did the US Airforce Singing Sargent's. But for me, the one part that ALWAYS puts a lump in my throat and a tear in my eyes, is the very last chorus of God Bless the USA. Gets me every time.

It’s so good. Lee wrote the song in the 80’s and he still sounds great at 75! Home Free is great as usual and the Singing Sergeants were just great. This was during Covid so they weren’t even together. It was great! Home Free did do this song on their own at the foot of Mt. Rushmore and it’s beautiful too.

Lee was either 77 or 78 when this was recorded in June 2020. The release date was July 3rd,2020....just in time for the 4th !!!! You should react to some of their other collabs. Sub b request here... Home Free & Don McLean with the 50th anniversary of his iconic song "American Pie". They released it on Feb 3rd, 2020 the 62nd anniversary of "the day the music died"...which was when a plane crash killed Ritchie Valens, The Big Bopper & Buddy Holly in a snowstorm in Iowa on Feb 3rd, 1959....this is the song of my generation released Oct 24th, 1971. It's American Pie , Home Free & Don McLean. He specifically asked them to do it....who could turn that down?

Lee Greenwood is the original singer and writer of this song,. They were thrilled to be able to collaborate with him. This was done during covid restrictions, so they still had to record where they were and were not able to come together. Lee Greenwood was, I believe, 78 when he recorded this with Home Free. The man still has chops. Wow the harmonies were out of this world!

What could be a better than Lee Greenwood, an American country legend, Home Free (legends in the making) and the Singing Sergeants, singing a fabulous song that honors America? This is awesome and Adam's beat boxing/vocal percussion was wonderful and I especially loved the jet "flyover" effect he did at the very end. There are no egos in Home Free. When they have featured performers, they always give them respect and room to shine instead of trying to grab the lime light all for themselves. That's one reason they make such extraordinary music. I really love the sound of Home Free because they are an all male group but in this collaboration I agree that the female voices added and extra dimension. Great reaction!!

Kathy here - just found your channel. Lee Greenwood wrote this is the 80. Then, the first baseball game after 9/11, he was asked to sing this before the National Anthem. Then you add in Home Free and the US Choir, it is an amazing rendition. Lee Greenwood still has his chops on this one! Great review and loved your appreciation for everyone in the video. No I'm not particularly a home free fan, it's not because they're not amazingly talented it's just because I'm really not into country music. I'm more Pentatonix girl! Lol I remember when this song came out, I think it was during Gulf war part 1 but I could be wrong on that because I can't remember exactly. If anybody noticed the soldier that first sang that had the incredible voice, he sang harmony with home Free and Lee greenwood through out the song. Even when everybody else was doing the ah for finale, he was singing with the rest of the group. He had an amazing voice that guy should have had a record contract. I'm from a very strong military and I give thanks to my cousin who just got out of the military after 13 years and serving in Afghanistan and Iraq, and a special shout-out to my grandfather and my uncle who both served in world war II. Both men came home but not all of them came home I guess you can say and they ended up drinking themselves to death because of everything they had to do and see over there. And a group that is often forgotten I want to give a particular thought to the families of the people that serve. Cuz it's not easy living the life they have to live either. Because believe me the family serve too.
