      I just got a mature one yesterday and a young one. I wanted to compare how the one I care for from recent cuttings will do over the years.

    Your Cactus is so beautiful . Another cause of yellow stems such as the ones you cut out of your cactus is from underwatering/ irregular watering. Those stems since deep in the middle just may have not gotten enough water.😊 💚🪴🌱🌿🍃🌵🍀

    Perfect timing! I got a small ric rac a few months ago at a plant swap but didn't know anything about it. Put it in my (mostly) cactus garden and it's undoubtedly been getting too much sun and not enough water. Will be repotting and repositioning it today!

    I love this plant but I did not find the right place and maybe the right soil for it ! it is rotting very easily and quickly as soon as I am watering and the branches are not full and thick like this one in the video. Next spring I will repot it and give it a new start !

    Hi I'm pretty new to plants and iv had this one for about 2 years, not much growth.. however this year finnally seemed to be doin better untill I looked and a couple of the pieces have brown mushy parts on the sides. So I panicked , and now have taken them out of all the soil they were in (which were pretty wet) so I'm guessing maybe I over watered ???? Anyway, I have them drying out and them goin to repot in a better soil mix. Is my plant going to be ok, or with this rotted mushy stuff continue ???

    Nice video👌🏽 Do Ric-Rac's mind being root bound? I just stumbled upon a 4" in a supermarket about a month ago. Also are they slow growers? Thanks!

    I think I let my ric rac cactus get to root bound and it's struggling. It is not a deep green any more. Looks anemic. I'm going to propagate from the original plant. How do you suggest I get is bright green back?

    The broad leaves of my plant have lots of skinny shoots on them. I have had it a few years. Repotted last spring. It just isn't as pretty as yours. What am I doing wrong? Should I pinch all of these shoots off?

    • @michaelberg4842
      @michaelberg4842 3 года назад +1

      I heard one grower on a RUclips video say that if one part of the leaf is thick, and the other part is thin, it wasn’t getting enough light. I don’t know for sure if that’s true. I’m going to see if there is a blog site for this plant so that I can Lear more about proper care.
