Anyone else feel they should have ended it with At World's End? I'd have been fine with just the three, plotholes and all. It wouldn't be the first to jump to mind for a trilogy marathon, but it'd certainly be in my mind.
+TallManVanitas I think 3 just left such a bad taste, what with the patchy script and mostly unsatisfying ends for the character arcs. My hope is that they undo the ending of 3 with this next entry, save Will, have Captain Jack's character reach some resolution and then call it done. That would be great. Kinda like what they did with Days of Future past.
+TallManVanitas but yes, I do feel that they missed their chance to make Pirates one of the all time great trilogies, right up there with Indiana Jones, Back to the Future and Star Wars. They just stumbled at the finish line!
+richard van as I agree but also think Hans Zimmer can do better than the 4th movie. I'm all about that soundtrack. The 2nd one was brilliant and I don't think he is done yet.
+TallManVanitas Yeah I mean the fourth one definitely wasn't as good as all the rest; obviously it's just not the same without Will and Elizabeth, but it's still good. And personally At World's End is my favorite so I mean yeah it could've ended there but it's not that bad that they did more. But really I just think of how crazy it is that _all_ this stuff, the movies, the characters, the merchandise, came from one little ride in Disneyland in the 60s... ~:~
My favorite version of this is an amalgamation of this one and On Stranger Tides'. We have that guitar section before the two cadenzas (2:05 here, and specifically these and not the ones from Tides), then cut back to Tides for the part following (the one from Jack Sparrow), and then finish it off the usual way. I should mix this.
I feel the ending was ruined by the slight cliff hanger. Don't get me wrong i loved the fountain of youth but it felt, more like a spin off. I hope they reboot the series, not ruining or carbon copying the old ones but recreating the old feelings we got the first time we saw jack out wit several trained soldiers and stuff.
*Hans Zimmer you magnificent bastard!!* This movie gripped my soul!
This soundtrack always leaves chills up my spine. Too amazing for words!
That violin part is trying to teach me what true freedom is, can't stop the tears!
the only man to ever sail across sand
My worst nightmare.
This and One Day are the best ones, simply amazing.
The best and the most epic of all movie themes. This gives me goosebumps every time I listen.
I'm here for 02:18 I just love how they mix the "jack sparrow" theme with the "will&elizabeth theme" I just love it!!
it gives all the feelings from the movie into one piece. it's kind of a musical resume of the Film.
Hans Zimmer is a God this is so fucking good

The Love theme makes me want to be 18 again.
I can't believe Disney didn't give credit to X Atencio who wrote the original song for use on the attraction at Disneyland.
so... when were you planning to upload the soundtracks of PotC 5?

They didn't take the music from the ride... they made their own themes
OMG, the sound quality, I dont wanna sound liek snob but the quality is terrible. Is it in 54kbps? My dude, you need to reupload.
He did upload it 9 years ago lol
Yes Hans Zimmer is great, but John Willams he's the best
I think he comes very close.
