    For your kind information, 108 numbers represents Buddhist spiritual significance not numbers of deceased. I guess only 11-12 soldiers died and war happened near southern border of Bhutan- India.

      The chortens are dedicated to 108 Bhutanese soldiers who died fighting Assamese rebels in 2003.

      @@drifteraftab Lots of people are misinformed through rumors, guide will figure out soon. It’s for the memory of soldiers who died in war but 108 doesn’t represents the number of soldiers died.
