But that's what creates conflict, which creates interesting stories for fiction. In the world of Suits, Louis's behavior isn't that far off from all the rest of the cast. Within the real world, of course it wouldn't fly, but then again no one wants to watch a real firm in life because it's boring and the vast majority of people try to avoid conflict the vast majority of time.

Louis represents 97% of all teachers (school, university) that I ever had. Having such a high opinion of himself and nothing to back it up results in harming people around you for no reason. Furthermore, wasting time and resourses proving something to others slows down the chase for your own objective, which Louis is also a shining example of. I don't believe there's anything relatable about him. He's a rusted gear in a gearbox that should be replaced ASAP, nothing more. First, stop caring what anyone thinks of you, then interact with other people.
