    the audio quality on this is real bad, but the voicework and reading is super good...

      The audio's a lot better here when you only use one audio channel, usually the left one.

    Can someone explain why there was music ? Is this essential for the poem or is it just an addition. Anyways, i really like the reading of this poem .

      Art that uses audio will usually try to use music to set the scene. Its the same reason why movies will use music for opening and closing credits. Its to get everything set up, get you in the mood to listen to an ancient Roman guy explain seeds for half an hour
