Good to hear Marco's situation appears to be less of an "injury" and more "Marco making sure nothing gets worse"
First half it looked like Puig and Reus were both pushed up and playing like 10m in front of the Vancouver back line. I saw both frustrated they weren't getting direct splits from back to front from Cerillo and the CBs. No knock on them, but that disconnect seems to be a problem of over-eagerness. Second half, one or the other (puig/reus) would drop back to get the ball and play that split or progress the ball from back to front. Then they started wrecking shop.
Seems like that happened against Portland , but losing the ball on passes was costly.
When players start to understand, that football is a team game first, there will be good result. LA had to score more goals, must choose every good option for it.
He talks about Marco needs to be a little more selfish so that he finishes with a goal. He might be training for that to surprise everyone in the playoffs!🎉⚽️🥅
