Looks good. Think the buckles on the old strap frayed the straps? They looked thin and sharp.

@@olivei2484 maybe, we will find out. Was trying to get it completed on the cheap.

@@squallyheiferadventures I get that. Might find some cheap ones at a farm store. But not sure they wouldn't rust.

Hi, Squally! A great video -- love the tips re: the twist in the loop and hot knife! End results look awesome!!! What kind of thread did you use and what size of needle was in the sewing machine to get through that polypro strap/line? How do you like the traveler set-up on your 23? I have the standard-factory mainsheet rig on Charm. Talk soon and fair winds!

Hi Chelle, I do not know the needle size. This is an old heavy duty walking foot sewing machine. I use upholstery thread. It is thick and strong. I do not know if it is UV resistant, but it will be under the bimini cover so it should only see the daylight when I am sailing. We will see how it holds up. Your guess is as good as mine at this point. So far the traveler is fine. I can lean against the back pulpit without it hitting me. I will see how it goes and if I want to go back to the original design. The old hardware is still there not being used.
